Jamie Campbell Bower, who portrays young Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is in Spain this weekend for the Sitges Film Festival. While there, he was asked a few questions about his roles in Harry Potter and The Twilight Saga: New Moon, in which he portrays Volturi vampire Caius.
When asked if he was prepared for the Twilight phenomenon, he said that he finds it a great honor to be part of the film, but also finds the whole thing a bit incomprehensible. He also talked a bit about working with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp in his role as Anthony in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, saying that Burton is a genius and Depp is a charming guy and very friendly.
He was also asked about his role in Deathly Hallows.
- How do you value having participated in Harry Potter?
- I’m excited. My character is the young Grindelwald, and can only say that does something very bad and steals something.
