Tom Felton who is well-known for his role as “Draco Malfoy” in the Harry Potter films keeps his fans quite informed on his Twitter account. And he has been rewarded for his efforts by winning Mashable.com’s Open Web Award for Best Actor/Actress To Follow on Twitter Award, thanks to the fans who voted for him.
Mashable.com’s 3rd Annual Open WebAwards was a big social media contest:
The Open Web Awards is our international online voting competition that covers major innovations in web technology and achievements in Social Media. Previous winners include Facebook, Pandora, iGoogle, Google Maps, Digg, Mahalo, Flickr, YouTube, Twitter, ShareThis and Evernote.
This year, we received over 440,000 nominations with over 70,000 nominees and over 780,000 final votes. Readers voted in 50 categories including new themes to reflect the evolution of web culture since 2008.

There’s John Williams conducting the Orlando Philharmonic Symphony. The cast show up in the Knight Bus and the Ford Anglia to help open up Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with some magic and a lot of fireworks!
