We previously told you that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was longlisted for seven Orange British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards in the categories of Make Up & Hair, Special Visual Effects, Sound, Costume Design, Production Design, Cinematography, and Alan Rickman (Severus Snape) for Supporting Actor.
The shortlist is now out and Half-Blood Prince has received two official nominations. The nominations are for the categories Production Design (Stuart Craig and Stephenie McMillan) and Special Visual Effects (John Richardson, Tim Burke, Tim Alexander, and Nicolas Aithadi).
The awards ceremony will take place one month from now on February 21st.

I’ve posted more of our videos from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter celebrations. This time we have Warwick Davis conducting the Hogwarts Chorus to Something Wicked this way Comes. There’s John Williams conducting the Orlando Philharmonic Symphony. The cast show up in the Knight Bus and the Ford Anglia to help open up Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with some magic and a lot of fireworks!
