Since Robert Pattinson’s movie Remember Me opens in movie theaters tomorrow (Friday, March 12), I couldn’t resist posting this My Space Artist on Artist video interview he did with Pierce Brosnan who portrays his father in the film. Robert Pattinson is known to Harry Potter fans for his portrayal of “Cedric Diggory” in Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix. Pierce Brosnan can be seen currently as “Chiron” in Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief which was directed by Chris Columbus who also directed the first two Harry Potter films. Small world, isn’t it?
The two actors discussed the scenes they did together. Brosnan expressed how impressed he was with the film as a whole and what Pattinson did in it and for it as executive producer. The interview was taped prior to the premiere which is why Pattinson stated he had not seen a final cut. Brosnan had a private viewing with his family.
There is a humorous bit where Brosnan asked Pattinson about the Twilight films. Pattinson replies that the final story Breaking Dawn still needs to be filmed which will happen at the end of the year and may be cut in two parts; and then, he was done with it…finished. Bronsan comments that he believed there had only been seven James Bond books written by Ian Fleming; but by the time he had the part of the MI6 spy, the films have been going on forever and ever, so Pattinson better watch out! He may be playing Edward Cullen for a long time. But both actors agree that you can’t play or be 17 forever. Who would want to? As Brosnan says, you have to move on.
Funny, that what’s I have to keep telling myself in the mirror. Lol.
