Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been nominated for Best Movie for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards.
Additionally Tom Felton, who portrays Draco Malfoy, has been nominated for Best Villain. He’s going up against fellow Potter actor Helena Bonham-Carter for her role as the Red Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland.
Tom updated his Twitter account to state he’s ‘truly honoured’ by the nomination.
Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) has received a nomination for Best Female Peformance. Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) is nominated for Best Male Performance and Best Global Superstar!

The awards ceremony takes place June 6 at 9/8C in Los Angeles.
