DH Brings Emotional & Physical Challenges For Trio

Harry Potter and the Deathly HallowsTotal Film Magazine posted a preview of their September issue which includes an article about their visit to the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.  They interviewed the director David Yates who was quite excited about filming the adventures Harry Potter (Dan Radcliffe), Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) outside of Hogwarts.

“It’s about these kids dealing with the outside world, this very dangerous place, and having to grow up fast…I think it’ll help invigorate the series and charge it up a bit. And I think we need that now, because we’re on the seventh film.  You can’t stay in a comfort zone. What’s great is that Dan, Rupert, and Emma are so much older and they’re benefiting from the complexities that they have to deal with in this story.”  Yates was quoted to have said in the article.

For the article, Grint was quoted to have made the comment that “It’s all got kind of grown-up” and explained why the Deathly Hallows was made into two films.  Watson was as enthusiastic as Yate:

“I complain about how many muscles I pulled and how many bruises I got, but actually it was so nice to be out in the forest, running around.  It’s been tough emotionally and physically , but there’s an awareness on set that this is it, this is the big finale-and everyone’s really giving it their all.”

The article also includes Radcliffe’s comments on Harry’s intentions in Deathly Hallows.
