We previously reported that Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) was among the recipients who accepted the special 2011 BAFTA award for Outstanding Contribution to British Cinema which honored the Harry Potter films.
Upon his arrival to the award ceremony, Grint was asked if he felt that it was about time the Harry Potter films were recognized for the contribution they have made to the film industry after all these years. Grint agreed that it was nice that the films were being recognized at this time. And also, this occasion certainly has given him the chance to look back at how half his life was involved in making them.
