We previously reported that Empire Magazine would be doing a special edition on the Harry Potter films called the Ultimate Celebration. The magazine is now on stands.  We have scans of the article (a HUGE thanks to Leaky Cauldron) in our gallery.  The photos give us some great shots of the actors and shots from the set which have never been seen before.  There are also special notes and/or write ups by the actors.  See the scans in our gallery here.

We previously told you that Leavesden Studios, where most of the Harry Potter films were made, is to become Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter.  We have just been informed that the tour’s official Facebook page is now online.  Make sure to check it out, and ‘like’ it, here!

The new area opens in Spring 2012 and will include tours of many of the Harry Potter film sets. Visitors will get to see costumes, props, and much more!

Each day last week Warner Bros released a new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 poster.  The first day of this week we now have the character poster for Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton).  You can see it in our gallery here.

Harry Potter’s Page’s June 2011 desktop calendar’s theme is The Countdown to the End Begins and is all about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.  Yes, it’s sad to say, Potter fans.  The end draws near.  But for most of us, it will never end.  Potter will always be within us.  It is in our blood.  It is our addiction.  So, to help feed your addiction, I have for you this month’s desktop calendar.

After clicking on the size that you want, right click on the calendar, and click ’set as background’ for IE, or ’set as desktop desktop background’ for Firefox.  For those who use Chrome, you’ll have to save the file, right click on your desktop, personalize, go to your background settings and browse to where you saved the image.

Wow, Warner Bros is really spoiling us this week!  This week we’ve received four Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 character posters and we now have the fifth – Lord Voldemort!  See He Who Cannot Be Named (Ralph Fiennes) in all his sinisterness in our gallery here.

Warner Bros. has been busy in the last few days releasing character posters for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.  We’ve already seen the character posters for Harry Potter (Dan Radcliffe) here, Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) here, and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) here.

They have now released the character poster for Neville Longbottom (Matt Lewis).  Check it out in our gallery here!

 We previously reported Empire magazine’s free Harry Potter The Ultimate Celebration with their latest issue which is now available at newsstands today.  On their site, Empire has posted quotes from Julie Walters (Molly Weasley) and Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) about their characters’ participation in the Final Battle at Hogwarts.

Spoiler and Adult Language Warning:

Arguably one of the most anticipated scenes in the whole series, let alone the last movie, it will see Molly Weasley squaring off with Bellatrix LeStrange after the latter attacks the former’s daughter, Ginny.

In it, Mrs Weasley (Walters), says the line: “Not my daughter, you bitch!” And here’s what the two duelling witches had to say on the matter…

Julie Walters: “Deathly Hallows – Part 2 is Mrs. Weasley’s big moment. She’s right in the middle of the Battle Of Hogwarts. The battle is huge, painful and heroic for her. Before we’ve seen a very sweet mum, and this earthy sort of presence even though she’s a wizard. But you see another side to her. It’s a very physical role this time out. And she has one of the most famous lines in the books. Everyone wrote to me and said, ‘I HOPE they’re NOT going to take THAT out, are they?!’”

Daniel Radcliffe also had his own thoughts on the line:

“I’ve always been very against any swearing in these films and I don’t know why because I swear much more than I should in real life. But if the, “Not my daughter, you bitch!” line is in the book, then that’s fine. I mean, Bellatrix is about to kill her daughter, absolutely.”

And Helena Bonham-Carter herself, though not so preoccupied with that line, explained just how hazardous the whole fight was to shoot:

“You should warm up before wand-fighting; that’s what Julie Walters and I discovered when we were duelling each other. We were crippled after that scene. Duelling going backwards on a table is tricky without falling off. Which, of course, I did! I did say, ‘Can someone stand there and keep and eye out?’ But there were people standing all around and not one of them warned me.”

Yesterday we showed you some videos for the new Empire Harry Potter 36 page special edition that hits stands today. It looks like some of the videos are experiencing some technical problems – hopefully it’s just temporary.

However, they have posted a new video where the Harry Potter stars are asked to describe Harry Potter in one word.  It’s quite cute – especially Rupert. Check it out here.
