As Harry Potter fans already know, the official site for the films has been updated with information on the final film in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.  And now, the site’s Mugglehub ( a webpage containing the trailer, stills, avatars, wallpapers, and screensaver from the film) also has been updated with promotional images which already have been released online and in our photo gallery. 

But fans should note that though the wallpapers are similar to the character banners we have shared, they show a wider and a more extended look of each character and a better view of the Hogwarts background in the individual banners of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Voldemort, Neville, Snape, Draco, and Bellatrix Lestrange.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 will be released in movie theaters on July 15.

Crmhpfan has really gone out of her way this time with the July Harry Potter’s Page Desktop Calendar.  She has made a different calendar for each of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 release dates.  And the design is simply spectacular.

After clicking on the size that you want, right click on the calendar, and click ’set as background’ for IE, or ’set as desktop desktop background’ for Firefox.  For those who use Chrome, you’ll have to save the file, right click on your desktop, personalize, go to your background settings and browse to where you saved the image.

Entertainment Weekly are publishing a 50 page edition that will be dedicated to Harry Potter.  They’ve launched a Harry Potter section on their website and also included some new photos on their Facebook.

Their website includes 19 new set photos from all of the films.  Most of them have never been published before.  One includes a hilarious photo of Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort with gaffer Chuck Finch who’s holding a mallet to Ralph’s head.  Another shows Helena Bonham Carter kissing Dan, where another shows Gary Oldman (Sirius Black) with director David Yates during the filming of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.  You can see those, and the rest, in our gallery here.

Their website also includes a very cool album that has many props from the set.  The album includes a magnifier that allows you to see in great detail each of the items.  Check that out here.

Fandango posted an exclusive clip from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, courtesy of Warner Bros.

SPOILER:  This clip shows Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) enter the Chamber of Secrets to retrieve a fang (which still contains venom) from the basilik’s skeleton and to use it to destroy the horcrux contained in the Hufflepuff Cup.

As promised, we have the first of three previews from JK Rowling’s new website Pottermore. The preview shows a screenshot of the entryway to Chapter 6 from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s/Sorcerer’s Stone titled, “The Journey from Platform Nine and Three-Quarters” and says underneath, ‘Harry’s last month with the Dursleys wasn’t fun.’ It then has a button that leads you to explore Chapter 6.

 Itunes posted a featurette titled “Where We Left Off” from the cast and crew of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.  Along with the producers David Heyman and David Barron, the three main stars Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) give a summary (with clips) of what happened in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 in order to prepare fans for what will come in Part 2.

Yahoo! Movies have posted a featurette called Horcruxes from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.  It focuses on the Horcruxes, what they are, and names some of them.  It also includes new footage from the film, behind the scenes footage, and  interviews with many of the stars and crew, including Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort).

We told you that the world premiere for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was taking place on July 7 and that we’ll be there to bring you all the red carpet fun!

It’s now been announced that the world premiere will be streamed live on Facebook.  The times  the live stream will begin are 8am PDT /11am EDT / 4pm BST.
