Warwick Davis On BBC Radio’s Talking On The Air

Warwick Davis

Warwick Davis (Flitwick & Griphook) noted on his official website that he did an interview for BBC Radio Wales’ Talking On The Air to promote his BBC-TV television show, Life’s Too Short.  He shared his favorite songs like Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean with the radio show’s host Aled as well as discuss his films Return of the Jedi, Willow, the horror Leprechaun films, and of course, the Harry Potter films.

Personally, I didn’t realize he was 11 years old when he played “Wicket” the Ewok who found Leia in Return of the Jedi–not much older than a certain trio when they starred in the beginning of a new film franchise.

It is the last section of the interview Mr. Davis talked about his memories of working on the Harry Potter set after Aled played “Hedwig’s Theme” .  One of those memories is the cast and crew singing “Happy Birthday” in the Great Hall to his daughter who was celebrating her 13th birthday at the time.

Note:  On his website, Mr. Davis noted that the interview can only be heard in the UK; but I’m in the States and had no problem listening to it on the BBC iPlayer.  However, you do need to have the Real Player program on your computer in order to access the application.
