According to Broadway.com’s Broadway Buzz, Hugh Jackman has been confirmed to play the role of “Jean Valjean” in a film adaptation of the successful musical Les Miserables which was based on the novel by Victor Hugo. And while Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) is supposedly in negotiations to play the role of “Madame Thenardier” along with Russell Crowe for the part of “Inspector Javert”, online rumors have been circulating that Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) may be considered for the part of “Cosette” or “Eponine”.
