As many of you probably know, a big movie is coming out this weekend: Marvel’s The Avengers. Although many went to see the midnight show last night (myself included), it didn’t quite beat the champion: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
The Avengers‘ midnight income is estimated somewhere between $18m to $20m. However, Deathly Hallows Part 2 brought in $43.5m for their midnight opening. So, although these super heroes are one tough bunch, they aren’t quite strong enough to bring down the magic of Harry Potter.
