Video: Warwick Davis Hosts Fantastic Beasts Documentary

At the world premiere of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them this past November, Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick and Griphook in the Harry Potter films) had announced he was working on a documentary for UK’s ITV channel.  Having already been broadcast with the title Fantastic Beasts and J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World for UK residents, the documentary is now available for the global public on YouTube.

Having been involved with the Harry Potter films since the first one, Mr. Warwick contributes a unique perspective to this behind-the-scenes film.  In the beginning, he searches for first edition copies of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and the novella Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them which was based on the concept of one of Harry’s textbooks and written by J.K. Rowling for the UK’s Comic Relief fund.

As the documentary progresses, Mr. Davis travels to the various Wizarding World of Harry Potter locations, the Warner Bros. Studio, Leavesden, the Palace Theater in London and New York City for the Fantastic Beasts Premiere.  During his journey, the actor interviews fans for their feedback on the Harry Potter series, the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

As part of the wizarding world himself, Warwick Davis has exclusive access to interview the cast and crew who have been a part of the film evolution of Harry’s world.  Some of the people who were interviewed by him are J.K. Rowling herself, David Heyman (producer), David Yates (director), Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander), Christian Manz and Tim Burke (visual effects supervisor.)

Yaaayy! I love my dog very much. Triple Yaaayy! **Women are angels. And when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly...on a broomstick. We're flexible like that.**
