Bonnie WrightBonnie Wright and Jamie Campbell Bower, who will be seen as “Ginny Weasley” and a young “Gellert Grindewald” in Deathly Hallows, posed for the September issue of Vanity Fair in a photo layout titled “Good Graces”.  Along with actresses Imogen Boots, Hannah Murray, and Jessica Brown-Findlay, Wright wore a gown from Marc Jacobs’ Fall fashion line for Louis Vuitton in London while Campbell Bower wore a tuxedo from Anderson & Sheppard for Saville Row.

Bower and Grint in In-Style Magazine

Rupert GrintJamie Campbell Bower, who portrays Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), were both featured in a photo in the UK March edition of In-Style Magazine. Rob Pattinson in New MoonThe advertising for Robert Pattinson’s (Cedric Diggory) Twilight Saga: New Moon is getting hot and heavy with the film’s release date fast approaching - less than a month away at November 20th.  Fandango have posted an exclusive TV spot that shows Rob’s character, Edward Cullen, getting into a fight with Jacob the werewolf (Taylor Lautner).  You can see the video here!

UPDATE: Another clip is now online, this time on Yahoo! This one also involves a fight, but with the evil Volturi vampires. This clip also includes Jamie Campbell Bower (Young Grindewald).  Check it out here!

Jamie Campbell Bower in Spain; Talks Potter & New Moon

Jamie Campbell BowerJamie Campbell Bower, who portrays young Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is in Spain this weekend for the Sitges Film Festival. While there, he was asked a few questions about his roles in Harry Potter and The Twilight Saga: New Moon, in which he portrays Volturi vampire Caius.

When asked if he was prepared for the Twilight phenomenon, he said that he finds it a great honor to be part of the film, but also finds the whole thing a bit incomprehensible.  He also talked a bit about working with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp in his role as Anthony in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, saying that Burton is a genius and Depp is a charming guy and very friendly.

He was also asked about his role in Deathly Hallows.

- How do you value having participated in Harry Potter?
- I’m excited. My character is the young Grindelwald, and can only say that does something very bad and steals something.

Update: Watson and Bower Attend Burberry Prorsum Show

Emma WatsonEmma Watson (Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Young Grindewald) attended the Burberry Prorsum show today at the Chelsea College of Art & Design in London today.  Some photos of Emma at the event can be found in our gallery here (thanks to SS).

Jamie also attended. We currently have no photos of him at the event, however he twittered earlier on his account, saying he was in a rush to get changed to go:

Mad rush home for quick costume change for burberry show and party. Where @georgecraigono will be walking. I’ll try not to trip you mate. X

Rob Pattinson in New MoonYahoo Movies posted a photo gallery of promotional stills from The Twilight Saga: New Moon which included  a new photo of Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire) as “Edward Cullen” and one of Jamie Campbell Bower (young Grindewald in Deathly Hallows) as “Caius” of the Volturi.  Copies of those photos can be seen here in the photo gallery.

Also, MTV posted a video photo tease of the new trailer of the movie which will be presented for viewing by Pattinson and his co-stars, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner on the MTV Video Music Awards.  The event will be broadcasted tomorrow evening (Sunday, September 13) at 9:00pm.  Reportedly, this trailer is an expanded version of the one shown prior to the screening of Summit Entertainment’s Sorority Row in movie theaters.

Jamie Campbell Bower Talks Deathly Hallows

Jamie Campbell BowerJamie Campbell Bower, who portrays young Grindewald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, was recently in New York City and spoke with MTV about Deathly Hallows and Twilight: New Moon, in which he portrays evil Volturi vampire Caius.  Here are a few excerpts:

MTV: We’re going to see you in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” as Gellert Grindlewald, joining Rob as the only actor to have a foot in both of these phenomenally huge franchises. Have you guys bonded over this?

Campbell Bower: Well, Rob is quite a significant character in the “Potter” movies, I believe, from what I can remember. My character is a bit smaller.

MTV: Have you and Rob discussed things he learned as he tried to go from one franchise to the other? Did he have pointers for you?

Campbell Bower: No. There isn’t much difference between them, apart from the story. They’re both massive franchises, and they both work like a machine, you know? Everyone’s on time, and everyone’s doing the best job that they can.

MTV: Some people might say that “Twilight” is more for girls, while boys enjoy “Potter” more. Would you agree?

Campbell Bower: I’d say that they’ve both got fairly specific fanbases. “Twilight” is more for your 13- to18-year-olds, although there are people who obviously enjoy it — older people — which is great. But I think the main audience is the 13- to 18-year-olds, maybe because of Rob and the fact that they love Edward. [As for] “Harry Potter,” it’s a bit younger. Although the recent films are a bit dark. I saw [a "Potter" film] the other day, and I thought it was quite scary. You’ve also got your older audience [there].

MTV: What’s the difference between how you approach each franchise?

Campbell Bower: Like, am I playing them the same? No, I mean, they’re two different characters, they’re two different people. [To play them the same] would be like, “I’ve just eaten some cheese, and now I’m eating an apple, and it tastes like cheese.” When you’re filming anything, you’ve just got to believe in the character and believe yourself that you are the character.

Jamie Campbell BowerJamie Campbell Bower, who has the role of Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, was recently interviewed by E! while attending the Twilight: New Moon panel at Comic-Con in San Diego. During the interview they asked him about his role in Deathly Hallows. He says he got the call for the part while in the car (just after finishing filming New Moon as Caius) and that the caller told him he didn’t really have to do anything, just that he has the role. You can see the video below, but the quality is a bit low. If you happen to see a better one, or have one yourself, please let us know!

Video Today

Wizarding World of Harry PotterI’ve posted more of our videos from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter celebrations.  This time we have Warwick Davis conducting the Hogwarts Chorus to Something Wicked this way Comes.  There’s John Williams conducting the Orlando Philharmonic Symphony.  The cast show up in the Knight Bus and the Ford Anglia to help open up Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with some magic and a lot of fireworks!  We also have more of the interviews from the press conference with the cast.  Check back tomorrow for videos and photos from the public grand opening of the Wizarding World!
