J.K. Rowling and Potter Stars Celebrate Fry's 50th
|
Stephen Fry, who does the UK version of the Harry Potter audio books, celebrated his 50th birthday last weekend. J.K. Rowling, along with some of the Harry Potter stars, helped him to celebrate by joining in on the televised event Stephen Fry 50 Not Out.
The stars who joined Jo include Imelda Staunton (Professor Umbridge), Emma Thompson (Professor Trelawney), David Tennant (Barty Crouch, Jr.), Kenneth Branagh (Professor Lockhart), and Rick Mayall (Peeves).

Potter Actors Help Make Poverty History

Alan Rickman (Professor Snape) and Emma Thompson (Professor Trelawney) have joined up with many other celebrities to support the Make Poverty History advertisement campaign.
The campaign has the celebrities clicking (snapping) their fingers every 3 seconds. Each click symbolises the death of a child. Across the developing world, one child dies every three seconds from extreme poverty.
