seriously if i were to make an educated guess it would probably be the second to last horcrux that leads Harry to find a way to get rid of voldy so Harry Potter and (Horcrux here) - im not even going to attempt to guess it.

I think what would be really funny, is if she just puts something random. It has nothing to do with the story line, and in the end of the book it finally shows up...
Harry Potter and the slice of cheese-And after the final battle, Harry looks down, and pulls a slice of cheese out of his pocket and takes a bite out of it. THE END... I dont think anyones gonna guess it right but I do like the idea of Harry Potter and the Prophecy. Some of you ppl had that somewhere down the lines... |

I was thinking it would involve a spell. Maybe the spell that kills Voldemort. But I can tell you, it will be something we haven't thought, because each successive title has introduced something new that wasn't discussed in the previous books.
Actually, I think the most artistic way to do would to just be Harry Potter, but all the other books have Harry Potter and the...so she'd continue with that. |

Harry Potter and the Veil of Darkness
I like Harry Potter and the Final Battle or other variations of it. Does anybody have any idea when the book title will be released??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/comp26.gif) I'm dying here! I don't think it will be "Return of the Pheonix" for two reasons though. It would be a cool title, but "Pheonix" has already been used. Also, the one who you are refering to as the pheonix isn't coming back, as much as I hate to admit it. They're gone... There is currently a contest going on with The Guardian (see our article here) to see who can come up with the best title on Book 7, or who can come the closest - if JKR happens to give us a title before December 6th, which is when this contest ends - to the title, you can win a signed bookplate by JKR.
Because of this contest, I thought I'd bump this post up a bit. Many seem to think that the word horcrux will be in the title for the 7th book. Some think it's too obvious. But, I happen to be one of those horcrux shippers. The reason I think this is b/c JKR has said herself that the 7th book is the second half of the 6th book. But, I could very well be wrong. There have been many titles guessed at with the word horcrux in it - either the battle for or the quest for the horcruxes. Mine is a little different (and I submitted this prior to looking at this thread). Harry Potter and the Death of the Horcruxes I think this title leads to many different speculations. What if Harry (or his scar) is a horcrux - could this mean he is to die as well? I mean, if JKR were to release a title similar to this, there would be much speculation about the horcruxes...and who/what is going to die. Give us your ideas, and also submit your guess to The Guardian here. |

My made up title is "Harry Potter and the Snake's Secrets".
I like it because it's elusive and the titles always seem to be elusive and it can allude to either Nagini or Snape.. and both hold secrets in my opinion (a lot will come out about Snape in book 7 and Nagini is possibly the last horcrux). I very much doubt anyone will guess the actual title! |
