If you could change ONE part to ANY of the books, what modification would you make?

I didn't like the parts with Ron and Lavendar snogging. I would have left more to interpretation for different age groups. I thought it was a little much for the 7-11 year old audience.

I would have been happy if the Ministry of Magic got their act together in the 6th book but I think it will enhance the plot as she intends it to be. I was thinking they would be a little more helpful to Dd and Harry. OH WELL! 04:P

You guys know me so well :) Well, other than that I honestly cant think of anything Id like to change. I love the books - although Im still unsure about some of the relationships posed in HBP.

the only thing i would change about the book is that all chapters are centered around harry, there is never a chapter without him, it's like it's a 1st person narrative rather than a 3rdd person. -obviously the book is about harry so this is how it should be, but i thikn it would be cool to have some pages where ron and hermione are alone or together, sorting through there emotions etc, -because i am hooked on that pending love story.

Are you kidding? 35:yikes: There was enough complaining about the snogging going on. If JK turned this into a love story it would picked apart worse then it already was.

I just wish JK would have brought more of James and Lily's family background into it.

I wish that Harry and Ginny had been together for a longer amount of time. To me, it felt a little rushed. I'm not saying I want more of a love plot, because I really don't. It's not about people getting together and stuff. I just wished we got to see Harry happier for a little more time.

But in the end, the books are pretty much perfect as they are.

Well, you're mostly right. Most of the chapters have been from his POV. But, we have had some that weren't. The first two chapters of HBP weren't from Harry's POV and neither was chapter 1 of GOF. 03;)

hpdork, I'm with you. Ginny and Harry's relationship was so short it almost felt nonexistent. Like Harry, I wish he had asked/kissed her sooner. Though I do believe that they will have the rest of their lives together when this is all over. 03;)

it is just so obviously there, and i really want it to happen. they are perfect for each other. i know it`s not a romance book, but it`s still there in the background. i`m going to be pretty mad if it doesn`t happen in book 7.
