I think Bellatrix was fabulous.
Although she was evil, I really admired her character. She loved Voldemort and her loyalty never wavered. Her beliefs were eccentric like Voldemort's but at least she wasn't two faced like the others who only joined out of personal gain. Let's talk about the death eaters, because we've said plenty about harry/ron/hermione/dumbledore/voldemort/etc........... |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/upsidedown.gif) You know, I've never really thought about any of the Death Eaters. I'd have to say any of them in Voldemort's close circle would be my favorite. They were with him from the start, were probably his most loyal, and probably learned the most from him to make them more powerful too. I'd have to agree with you though, Bellatrix definetly is a good DE, especially because she learned from Voldy himself! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/upsidedown.gif)
This is a little off topic, but has any one ever noticed that if you take 'Tom Marvolo Riddle' and re-arrange the letters, you get 'I am Lord Voldemort'? This post has been edited by Phoenix70: Dec 20 2007, 11:25 AM |

Thats a really good question but once you think about it there really arent any death eaters that are important besides bellatrix, the two malfoys and wormtail.the two malfoys are cowards. Draco wouldnt kill dumbledore and lusious(i dont know if i spelled that right) gave ginny the diary which i dont think he was supposed to do and he screwed up the prophecy plan. wormtail was only a death eater out of fear, and he betrayed his BEST friends. so bellatrix is the only good canidate besides mabey barty crouch junior. i forgot about him. so i guess i would pick barty crouch because if it werent for him voldemort wouldnt even be back.

In my opinion, he is a coward, and a hippocrite. He is definetly a hippocrite because of the way he wriggles out of the tightest situations, almost snake like in fact, and then tells Harry he hates how slippery he is and wriggles himself out of situations. Maybe Harry took lessons from him. Other than that, Lucious is a great character! I loved the actor they chose to play him!

QUOTE This is a little off topic, but has any one ever noticed that if you take 'Tom Marvolo Riddle' and re-arrange the letters, you get 'I am Lord Voldemort'? Isn't that actually mentioned in both the movie and the book of C.O.S? Personally I don't have a favourite DE. I don't think it's good to idolise someone who commits murder. However, the most intriguing DE I have to say is Bellatrix and that's only because she is such a phyco. |

I'd have to agree with phoenix70 on this one about Lucius. He did nothing to impress me and he was nothing but a bully, a braggart and turned out to be a coward. I'm so glad he was humbled.
I also agree with the_prisoner_of_azkaban for Bellatrix probably being my favorite Death Eater. Such a psycho that woman was!! lol |

Ummm....
Favorite Death Eater? SNAPE!!!!! C'mon people. That's an easy one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) 2nd place: Barty Crouch Jr, mostly because he managed to fool the entire staff and DD for a year. But like maxis said, without him Voldy wouldn't be back. 3rd: Bella... Here's an interesting thing about Bella. She really liked her older men. She was born in 1951, but married Lestrange, a man from Voldy's class which made him about 20 years older than her. And she was in love with Voldy... |

I was never one to feel Snape was a *true* death eater. He was just someone playing the fence as far as I was concerned, so no he definitely wasn't on my favorite DE list. As a character he was though. ;~) Barty Jr? Ummmm he's still after Bella for me. lol |

lol. If we count Snape as a DE, I'm gonna count R.A.B because he turned! So R.A.B is my favourite D.E for seeing the attrocities Voldemort was commiting and standing up against him.
Like 'Baty' I think Snape isn't a DE, just someone looking out for his own behind, following the power. If any D.E should be respected for actually being good it's Regulus not Snape. This post has been edited by the_prisoner_of_azkaban: Dec 29 2007, 01:07 AM |

just to get things straight i think by having a favorite death eater means that you think they did the most to contribute to voldemort. the better the death eater the more loyal you were so by saying who your favorite death eater is your just saying who you think was the most loyal or important to voldemort. thats why i said barty crouch jr is my favorite death eater. he was responsble for bringing back voldemort. does everyone agree?

That is your definition, but I don't think it's everyones. I personally picked because of the character and how that character was portrayed, it had nothing to do with who contributed the most or was loyal the most to Voldemort. |
