Harry and Hermione followed, racing towards the room of Requirment. As they got there Ron had already opened the door, so the raced inside to see the familliar surroundings.

Ginny saw Harry, adn she knew that he had seen her, but that did not explain the odd swoopimg sensation in the pit of her stomach. I didn't make since, but right now nothing did. She saw Dean walk through the portrait as Harry rushed out. Ginny caught herself sub-counsciesly comparing Dean and Harry. She knew that dean was never in any danger, and yet Harry had all of this responsibility, and he carried it so modestly.
"Dean, we need to talk." Ginny said stepping in front of hime.

"It's just the same as I remember it," smiled Harry plesantly.

"Oh, yeah it is!" said Ron. "It feels great to be back here, all the good times we had with the DA. I wonder if has anything different now that we aren't training against someone? Maybe we should chech around to make sure that everything is in place?" With that Ron started walking around the room, looking into every corner, and crevace. Just then, when Ron got to the other end of the room, something started moving in the shadows of one of the unchecked corners.

"Dean we've been apart, and before we never hung out. I mean. i dont know you. I think we should call this what it is and just be friends."
Deans eyes moved away from her face to the growing darkness that was outside. "Is...is it, Harry?" Dean asked very quitely. His eyes moving bakc to her face. He didn't look upset, just curiouse. Ginny just stared at him for a long moment. Truth be told, she had no idea what her feelings for Harry were. "Truthfully, i have no idea." She gave him a kiss on the cheek. An ran out of the portrait hole.

Running not that far she came into a skidding halt infront of a blank stretch of wall. After coming to the DA meetings she became used to coming here to read up of jinxs and hexes. She walked across the blank stretch of wall. And walked in on Harry (there was that odd swooping sensation) Hermione and Ron. And something rising slowly form the left had corner.

Harry stepped back as he saw something rising from the corner. As he did so he bumped ino someone. Looking behind himself he spotted Ginny Weasly.
" Ginny..hey," he said pathetically. The other guys screamed as the thing in the corner rose higher. Harry felt a sudden need to protect Ginny, and stepped infront of her.

"Ahhhh" screamed Ron as the thing rose out of the shadows "What is it?" When Ron said this, Neville stood up, he was limping, and there was blood coming from a long gash on his arm. It looked as if he had been practicing on his own.

"I- Nevill what are you doing"? asked Harry, supressing a laugh. He looked terrible, bloody coming from a long gash on his arm.
"Have you been practising on your own"? he asked, a giggle escaping his lips.

Ginny felt a pang as Neville looked ashamed that somebody had caught him. And the giggle that escaped harrys lips did not help. She rushed forward, drawing her wand to heal the long gash that was on his arm. "What happend neville?" She asked him

" Harry didn't know how serious it was till nevill cried out in pain. The smile that had been there a moment ago vanished. He walked beside Ginny, his sdie brushing hers. A tingle went up his arm.
"What hapened Nevill,"? he asked, a little more worridly.

I'll be Neville and/or Hermione if no one else wants them. But to get things clear, has Neville been attacked by the Basilisk or what 'cause I've just randomly joined this role play and have got no idea what's going on. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Ok, Ron, Hermione, Harry, and Ginny have found Neville in the Room of Requirment. Ginny broke up with Dean, and everyone else was transported to Hogwarts by DD.

"Woah Neville, you look a mess, can you tell us what happened to you?" said Ron. "Did someone, or something attack you, or did you just mess up a spell? Come ,on Neville tell us, maybe we can help." With Every eye on Neville, he looked up at Ron, and gave him a mutinous look.

Harry looked at hsi friends worrdily. " Just out of curiosity Nevill, have you seen a ..well a giant snake,"?

"Of course he hasn't Harry, come on! Think back, it was only a couple of years. Remember, whenever someone saw the reflection of the snake, they were paralyzed, and if you looked it in the eye, you were killed. Out of everyone, you should remember that! You fought the thing........ and I thought you said it was dead!" said Ron in an incredulous way.

"Ron! Shut up Nevilles trying to say something. And its not Harrys fault! M-mabey its NOT a giant snake this time!" Turning to Neville she glanced at his face. "Neville just tell us what happened."

"I - I don't exactly know. I was just walking around and I saw this thing. I couldn't make it out though - it was all dark and everything. But then something attacked me, I've no idea if it's the same thing, and I - I ended up with all this," finished Neville, indicating his wounds.

"You sure it wasn't a snake? You sure you didn't see anything, or heard anything suspicious?" said Ron. "Where were you attacked anyway? You're in a right state."

"I told you! I couldn't see anything. It was sharp though - and big, like really big. I didn't hear anything though, it was dead silent."

"You know, sounds like one or Aragog's mates"

"Who's mates?" asked Neville, clearly confused.
