Katrina fell back for a moment and looked to Murtagh quickly. "I heard someone," she said suddenly, "A voice in my thoughts."
That would be me Edoc replied, laughing.
"No," Katrina said, "Somebody farmiliar... that I've met before."
You're just imagining things.
She grimaced. I am not... oh gosh maybe I am. "I could have sworn I felt a somebody in my thoughts..." This is just madness... say so, Edoc, I'm going insane.

Galbatorix looked at her angrilly. "You must block your mind from unwanted predators," he said viciously.
She hung her head in fear, but deffinatly not shame. "I'm sorry, Sir," she said.
I'm hopeless, aren't I, Edoc?
Not exactl- yes, yes you are, Katrina. The comfort she was expecting did not come accompanied with the critisism.

"Arya?!" Eragon yelled as he jumped off Saphira she needed to know of wha he had seen but she was no where to be found "Arya!"

"What am I to do?" Katrina asked defiantly, brushing away thoughts of Roran or her incompetance.

Galbatorix squinted at them and sneered "Now that your done talking in your thoughts" I want you to pick up this pebble. Galbatorix said as he raised it and zommed it towards Katrina dropping it in front of her, send it back to me. While you Murtagh will send three.

Eragon couldn't ind her anywere running into his wash closet he filed the hole, and scryed for her but nothing showed just black "NO!" Eragon screamed and he sank to his knees
"Eragon?" H thought he heard arya's voice but he may have been imagining
"Arya?"
"yes."

"How?" Katrina asked, so scared she would be punished.

Galbatorix stared amused at Katrina and laughed in glee. "How do you think?" he responded in sudden distain. "Concentrate on the rock until you see nothing else and imagine it moving towards me. But do not let stray thoughts enter your mind and you will hurt only yourself causing the obviously unwanted result."

Meditating and consentrating only on the air around the rock, she imagined it being lifted and soaring slowly into Galbatorix'x outstretched palm. When she opened her eyes, it was in his hand and she couldn't help but smiling.

"Excellent, you shall never speak in the ancient language, it gives the other enemy more of an advatage, we shall learn magic like the Grey folk did. Now move this rock beside me."

"The big one?" Katrina asked, once again afraid, unsure that she could accomplish what was required.

"Yes" Galbatorix said paitently

Katrina took a deep breath. "Okay," she said softly.
She closed her eyes and invisioned the boulder being lifted. The weight pressed down on her, but she called upon the magic to hold it up. When it had steadied, she slowly imagined it being moved over, the air supporting it was it was layed down in its new place beside the king.
"Done," she proclaimed, opening her eyes.

Help me, Edoc she begged.
The dragon lifted his wings and fluttered a few feet to the right.
Idiot she told him, resisting a grin. Raiding her mind of all other thoughts, she once again closed her eyes, imagining her dragon being lifted. Never had she felt so much resistance against her, but she manuvered the air around Edoc'sil so that it would be easier to lift him. When she felt him rise, she moved him to the right, swirling the air beneath him until she set him down gently, though perhaps letting him fall a little harder than she should. But that might not have been an accident.
