So www, how do you want the book to start? I know what I'd like to see.

To be honest, I haven't given it much thought. I'll think about it though. How do you want it to start?

I think it will start with Harry leaving Dursleys to go to Bill and Fleur's wedding, and then possibly a trip to Godric's Hollow.

WWW, I think part of the reason you are not as excited might be due to this being the last one. It's an odd combination of dread and excitement!

Ok, I'd actually like to see a flash back of when Dumbledore died, go back to that scene, relive it, and then show how they dealt with the Death of Dumbledore, or how he *Actually* lived. I know, I'm still hoping.

I think that's a good beginning. Actually, I could see it too as a flashback type of thing, like Harry's dreaming about it or something.

Yeah, a dream would be ok, I guess, but then again maybe from someone like Snape, a different take on it then besides Harry.

Yeah, we're always getting it from Harry's prospective, how about ol' Snape? Since I feel he's a dead man walking.

Well, that'd be good. At least we've already had one chapter involving Snape but no Harry. Another wouldn't hurt. Or how 'bout this? How about from DD's perspective? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Oh so are you saying that there is a glimmer of hope that he could be alive?

And here I thought you were switching alliances.

But anyway, all in all, I hope it starts out with a bang. No interviewing the muggle prime minister, let's just jump right into action.

LOL!

I'll second that! HBP was still the most boring book out of them all in my opinion. It started out slow with the Prime Minister, got interesting with Snape, got slow again, got interesting when Ginny and Harry kissed, got slow again, and then got very exciting at the top of the Tower. It was informative, no doubt about that, just a bit slow. I'm very curious to see where Yates is going to take it as a film. Might be one case where I enjoy the film more than the book. Yeah, I'm hoping the whole Prime Minister thing is left out. No need to see that.

But back to DH, I guess the logical thing would be to start at Privet Drive, but I'd still like to see some kind of flash back on what *actually* happened after the fall.

Well, I did like the way GoF started, so something out of the normal format of
Dursleys=misery
rescued=happy
might me nice, but I also find comfort in formulas - sort of a control freak, I guess you might say! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/spin.gif)

I see no need for the Prime Minister in it at all. She let us see how the Minister of Magic cooperates with them. There's no need for it again.

Still thinking of how I'd like it to begin..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

How about this: A view from behind the veil where Dumbledore, Sirius, Lily, and James are watching over Harry and plotting ways to help him from there!
Boy am I a sappy sucker or what????

Hmmm...that would be pretty cool. I can't really see it happening in the very beginning, though! I still like the idea of Harry dreaming. Probably having a nightmare about DD. What I feel like what's going to happen is that it all begins at Privet Drive. Maybe not a dream, but with it showing Harry about to leave the house?

I think the beginning would be the wedding. Afterwards, Harry recounting the details of what happened at his last visit to Privet Drive to both Hermione and Ronald.
