In the COS movie we see Draco Malfoy take a page out of a book in Flourish and Blotts. Do you think this has any clue with anything in the future, or is this one of those questions we can not find the answer to.

That depends, is that in the book? I can't remember right now. It could be just to show how bad is. That he doesn't really care about destroying other peoples property.

No it is just in the movie, but i do not think Malfoy was doing it to ruin the book, because he ripped the page out carefully. And he put the page in his robe pocket.

well since it was only in the movie it was probably just added in so that people could see he was malicious and always up to something. it was probably just a spell or something he wanted to know about...probably not that relivant.

But JK Rowling must of shown that bit for a reason then, it was not in the books. I doubt that it was a mistake as the movie was by Christopher Columbus. Maybe the sectumsertia spell was in that page, as it is a very high level spell.

I think there is too much emphasis put on this. Chris Columbus did take liberties with the book as well as the other Directors. Yes, he did consult JK on things, but it's called creative license, and all directors do it. As long as it doesn't change the story line it's not going to bother JK all that much if things are added a bit..

I thought that JKR has to check everything. I thought that JKR would say something like: i want this here and they do this". Does'nt JKR do all the instructions?

I don't think that Jo gives all the instructions, but they do consult to her. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Anyway, back on topic, maybe that was an inventory of the shop?
