It's a good thing that the days goes fast sometimes, so the two weeks will be here sooner than we think. :) I'm so looking forward to see the trailer, and pre-order the game!
And Sriv, I think Dij only posted for Amazon.com. I'm gonna check out Amazon.co.uk today to see if they have put the games for pre-ordering too. :) |

Okay, I have noticed that we can pre-order the GoF-game from Amazon.co.uk now too. The prices are: for PC, GBA and NDS £24.99, and for GC, X-box, PS2 and PSP £32.99. I think I got them all. :)

Great. :) There wasn't anything about GoF to PS3 and X-box 360. If they'll be released soon (the machines), the games will be added to the site, I think. :)

i think the first game was a one-off, because the first game only came out on GBA ands also PS...so then the new platforms came in and evrybody had upgraded, then made them again just to fit all platforms...

I think that most of the Scandinavian/European countries will get the game around that day. 01:) Denmark, Norway and Finland is going to release the game on 22nd november too. |

I played the game for a bit, it's really cool (the camera is a bit hard to move though). 01:) But I'm used to have the cheats that can help me to find the cards and everything, so I didn't get far in the game! 02:lol: You have to find every card in each level before you get to another. What I can see is that the cards are pics from the movie, so it's cool too. 01:)

Ah well, will wait until someone does faqs and stuff over at gamefaqs.com. 01:) oh, well here this is what it says.......... 15^_^ --------------------------------------------------------- Tips & Cheats 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' Tips - Combine your jinxes and charms when in magical encounters to win new cards - Tap "down" repeatedly when using Carpe to be more powerful with the spell - There is a vanishing card to find in each location of the game - find them all and get a reward - Find and jinx all the dragon statues in each level of the game and win the Priori Incantatum Booster card as a reward! It just may help you out with an important challenge! - Collect card sets to earn booster cards - If you cast the Wingardium Leviosa charm to levitate a dugbog and continue to do so, you’ll dispatch the creature with the Orbis spell effect. Tips & Hints for Various Spells This is a guide as to how to use the spells to their maximum effect in Goblet of Fire including hints and tips on how to use them and the best ways to control them. Wingardium Leviosa Basic The basic technique for Wingardium Leviosa is simply to use it to lift objects up and move them out of the way using the control stick. This technique is simple, but effective, also a great way of holding some creatures at arms length, making it easier for the other characters to shoot them with Jinxes. Advanced Use Wingardium Leviosa as a way of getting creatures off the path by picking them up and moving them over cliffs or off rooftops and releasing! Another advanced technique is to use Wingardium Leviosa to pick up rocks and drop them on creatures from a distance, this way you can fight creatures from a distance. Expert Truly expert use of Wingardium Leviosa involve ‘throwing’ objects. Grab a rock and lift it in the air, now move the rock rapidly in the direction of the creature you want to attack and before you release the control stick, stop casting! The rock should fly through the air before crashing down and rolling on the creature, the extra momentum that you’ve put into the rock will cause lots of extra damage to the creature! Another Exper technique involves one character lifting a creature and a second character lifting a rock and using the rock to crash into the creature! Carpe Retractum Basic The basic way of using Carpe Retractum is simply to pull the control stick in the direction that you want to pull. Advanced For advanced spell casters, when you’re pulling the control stick in the direction you want to pull, wiggle it around that point, and you’ll find that your Carpe Retractum spell is quicker at pulling. Expert The way to make Carpe Retractum really quick is to pull the control stick in the direction you want to pull, then push the control stick towards the centre then back in the direction you want to pull. Do this rapidly and Carpe Retractum will pull incredibly quickly!! Aqua Eructo Basic The easiest way to use Aqua Eructo is to target a fire and hold down the charm, push the control stick continually to the left and right of the aqua stream to move it to other fires in the area. Advanced The advanced player will attempt to focus Aqua Eructo, to do this they must steer the stream so that it is in as straight a line as possible. Water is tricky to control, you have to push the control stick left and right of the aqua stream to move it, and try holding it in as straight a position as possible. You’ll notice that the straighter it is, the more water flows through the stream! Expert To truly master Aqua Eructo you need to pump water down the stream. To do this, steer the stream to straighten it up, like the advanced technique, then, when it’s straight, tap the control stick in the direction of the fire. Move the stick back towards the centre and tap again, do this rapidly to get balls of water flowing down the stream into the fire. This looks really cool, and is really fast for putting out salamanders and fires! Herbivicus Basic The easiest way to use Herbivicus is simply to target the plant you want to cast on and press and hold the charm button. The spell should connect with the plant and it will slowly grow. Advanced A more advanced technique for Herbivicus use is to move the stick left and right, which will speed up the cast. Expert For the fastest growing speed you can do, as soon as you cast, roll the control stick around in its socket in a circular manner as fast as possible, this results in plants growing in a super quick way! A great way to make a path through the lilies quickly! Accio Basic The easiest way to use Accio is simply to hold down the Accio button to bring objects towards you. This works really well to grab objects while you’re running! Advanced Hold the Accio button until the wand is raised, then tap the Accio button rapidly to increase the speed that objects are brought to the character. This is a great way to grab objects that are in danger of falling down gaps! Expert In multiplayer, hold the Accio button until the wand is raised, then tap as with the Advanced technique. The players who are closest to the rewards and tap fastest will get more spoils!!! A great way to ensure that you’re character ends up with a higher bean count that the other characters!! Jinxes Basic The simplest way to use this set of spells is tap the Jinx button to release a Jinx in the direction your facing, if you hit something that’s jinx-able it will respond, you’ll be surprised what will release beans if it’s jinxed! Advanced If you tap the Jinx button quickly a rapid stream of Jinxes will be cast in the direction you’re facing each time you hit the button, this means you can pepper an area with shots by turning at the same time as Jinxing rapidly! If you focus a stream of rapid Jinxes at many of the creatures in Goblet of Fire you’ll stun them, which will give you different opportunities! Expert Press and hold the Jinx button and you’ll see the character charging their wand before they cast, this leads to firing two jinxes simultaneously. Very handy, particularly when you’ve powered up your Jinxes using cards, use a triple shot and you’ll get six shots simultaneously!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry you couldn't get in. 32:sorry: Hope this information helps you, Nina79! 02:D |

Thanks! Will print it out tonight and try it. 01:) But there wasn't anything about how you can get some mushrooms to vanish, because I got to the part where Harry's supposed to see the dragons, I think. And there was a collection-card behind a group of mushrooms, and I tried woth Accio, but the card got stuck.
Ah well, I have to try with everything to get it then... Thanks for helping me! 01:) |

Okies, I got the game last night and started playing it today while the kids were in school. Anybody got any hints, cheats, clues on how to play this thing? I am not at all used to the new way to play it. I liked the first games where one button did one charm and I'm not liking this new way of doing things. Like, how do you perform Avifors? 08:huh: I'm a little bit lost. 05:(
