The scene that You Most Look Forward in OotP, What's the scene you really want to see? Options

Well, i'm not sure if this is allowed but, i'll give it a try, eh?

There are lots of good scenes in OotP, but what particular scenes that you REALLY look forward to?

Personally i have some, like
-The Fred/George's fiery farewell to Hogwarts
I really wish to see how Filch and Umbridge cope with the fireworks. And the favorite line there will be : "Give her heck from us, Peeves!" Then Peeves salutes them. Dont you want to see that? 38:spin: (yeah i know it's not 'heck' actually)

-Umbrige interrogation with the DA members
The part when Harry is warned by Dobby about Umbridge. The part when Malfoy casts a Trip Jinx on Harry, the jinx that Hermione cast on people that betrays the DA, the face of Mariette (is that correct?) and especially the part when Hermione feigns crying and leads Umbridge to the centaurs. I really want to see how Emma Watson's going to act in that particular scene. 24:angel:

and of course, the equal to the 'graveyard' scene in GoF will be,
-The Duel in the Hall of Prophecy
I'm sure lots of people want to see this scene. All with 6 DA members in it (the trio, Neville, Ginny, Luna-tic) it woul really be weird to see 6 people marching down the dark alleys instead of the usual 3. The part when the Death Eaters appear, the duel between them and some heroic acts by the usually inactive Neville, and of course, the death of the godfather, Sirius Black. Obviously, everyone wants to see the duel of the two most powerful wizards; Dumbledore and Lord Voldemort (oops!). 23:bigeyes:

there are lots more scenes i look forward to see but this is the some. I'm sure you guys have more scenes that you want too see.

Definatly the entire sequence in the Ministry, especially the fighting once the Order of the Phoenix arrive. The first time I read it, I was like OH MY GOD I can't wait to see this in the movie.

It should be an amazing set of scenes.

well i've just started the poll, trying to fit in as much options as possible. there's a lot of great scenes in the book that i just cant help feeling that some of them would possibly be cut out from the movie.

Some of the new scenes that i just remembered is

-Snape's Worst Memory
of course you guys want to see Snape hanged upside down eh? 21:highfive: James and Sirius are real pranksters.... but i just cant help feeling this scene will be cut off. 22:cry:

-Ron's Quidditch
well oliver's gone, so someone's have to fit in to replace him. it happens that Ron was selected!There will be a lot of scenes about this, and also the song, Weasley is our king, he cannot save a single ring... 02:lol:

-"GRAWP"
Well that's why Hagrid's been bruised! I think you can see if this part is cut off, if Hagrid doesnt appear bruised in the early parts of the movie, probably we wont see GRAWP. I'd like to hear it call "Hermy". 51:hermy:

-Harry and Cho
Hehe, this would be one of the most anticipated ones. But the book didnt describe Harry kissing Cho, so will they actually kiss? and i also want to see how Daniel and Katie acts while in the Hog's Head scene. 49:harry:

That toad umbridge wants students to face OWLs with just reading?! preposterous!
so they decided on Harry to lead and teach them some DADA. I would personally like to see Neville improve here, as well as the Patronuses spells.

I want to see Harry and Dudley's Dementor attack in the begining.

I want to see Mrs. Figg, but i think see will get cut. 05:(

I also want to see Mudungus Fletcher at the Black house.

The scene I want to see the most is the Department of Mysteries series. I really want to see the duel of DD and LV. 02:D

oh yeah, the dementor attack on Harry... i missed that. i think that is kind of important to the whole story. I cant help but think mrs figg will face the axe though.

It just has to be the fight between Dumbledore and Lord Voldemort. I hope they don't mess it up. That bit was my absolute favourite in OOTP. And now, after I have seen Ralph bring Voldemort to life so magnificently, it has only increased my anticipation for the scene in the movie.

My favourite part is St. Valentine's at Hogsmade, both Harry-Cho date at Madam Pudifoot's and later Hermione-Harry talk at Hog's Head.

Unfortunately, I think that this part will be shortened to the minimum expression in the film, but if Dan and Katie achieve a good performance in that part and they right a good script for Hermione it could be the best. I know it's the most spectacular part of the book, but I've always loved the way JKR mixed Harry's adventures and the daily life of the student's of Hogwarts.

And answering to Temporal, I think that they'll show the kiss between Harry and Cho because it would hit the screen so fiercely that the people will be simply delighted with that (you know, some love is always required if you want to appeal everybody).

And I think that the Department of Mysteries will be almost complete in the film. They'll probably shorten the first part before they find the prophecy, but it's the most spectacular part of the book, the final battle with Voldemort!! We won't be disappointed by that part I'm sure, but maybe we'll miss some other parts because they'll need time for the battle and the movie won't be more than 3 hours long.

i dont think the director will even dare to leave out the Dumbledore vs. Voldemort scene. That part is like the most interesting scene in the book, apart from the twins escape and Harry/Cho.

Yeah, seeming that the Hall of Prophecy scene will be much the climax of the story, they will probably put a lot of effort and airtime to the scene, thus costing other scene's airtime. Well i hope Mike dont leave anything vital though.

and chap, i think you're right. even before the movie starts shooting, there had been enthusiastism around the globe about Harry and Cho's infamous kiss. so if they leave that out, probably it will bring lot of fans down. katie and daniel wont be too pleased too 02:lol:

Do you think the giant Grawp will face the axe? I dont think he played an integral part of the story, besides that he helped Harry and Hermione escape the centaurs. but of course, they can probably say the centaurs just beat up umbridge without caring much about Harry and Hermione, for the fact that they are kids.

Grawp is in the film. In an interview, David Heyman mentioned that they were storyboarding the movie and mentioned that he liked how Grawp was coming about. So, I think that means that he is in the script, since Michael Goldenberg is done scripting it.

just wondering....whoever will be able to play James? I mean, the book states out that Harry looked at himself with a little bit of mistakes.... Whoever can look like Daniel with a little bit mistakes?

and good thing Grawp will be in the movie. It can help explain why hagrid's late and his persistent injuries.

Is there a chance that they cast one of Dan's doubles as the young James? I have seen a photo of one of Dan's doubles...and it's remarkable how he looks like Dan. So, maybe they'll do that...but then they might not know how to act. OK...I can't think! Come fast summer 2007!!!

honestly with technology these days, if they just cant find someone suitable to play James, then just let Dan play it. He can mess up his hair or use some make up to make him look a little bit different from Harry.

Yes, there's a double for Dan. He makes a few of the stunts, but what I've read, Dan likes to do most of his stunts by himself now. I think DanRadcliffe.com and co.uk asked him about it, and it's somewhere on the sites. 01:)
