Sophie felt like a prisoner, trapped inside classes all day, while a beautiful, early April day tempted her to just get up and leave. She sighed, turned away from the clear, sunlight sky and decided that she would eat lunch, by herself, outside. Just her and the wonderful afternoon.

Jeff walked the lonely halls alone. Charms hadn't been worth his attention today. With a smile on his face, he made his ways to the front door where he slipped outside into the perfect spring day.

Sophie sat at the edge of the lake; she took off her shoes and dipped them in the cold clear water, savoring the quiet, calm feeling.

Jeff walked gracefully over to the lake. He paused a moment, seeing a girl by the lake. He thought her name was Sophie and that she was in one or two of his classes, but he couldn't be sure. He came up silently and sat down beside her.

Sophie looked up quickly as a stunningly beautiful boy around her age sat by her.
"Hello," she murmmerd politely.

Sierra moved out into the spring air, the soft grass beneath her feet and the wind pushing lightly at her hair. As she stepped out toward the lake she saw Sophie and Jeff both of whom where in a least two of her classes. With no other classes yet let out she walked toward them.
"Hey," She said with a smile

Jeff glanced over his shoulder. "Hey," he responded. Then he looked down at Sophie. "And hello to you too," he said softly. He turned to give them both his angel's smile.

"You're in my charms class right?" Sierra asked Jeff

Sophie could feel her heart stop, mid beat when Jeff smiled. She didn't hear wahat he was saying, but just his blonde hair framed against those deep blue eyes made her mind spin. His face was so beautiful, but Sophie could sense something else behind his angelic features, something that was dark, almost evil. Yet she pushed this from her mind. How could anyone so beautiful have anything to do with evilness.

Sierra sat down next to Jeff and produed thin red sparks from her finger mindlessly.
"So what colour is your magic?" Asked Sierra, then kicking herself for being so personal "You dont have to answer." She added quickly

Sophie felt slightly annoyed at this brunette girl who just thought she could waltz in and start asking stupid, unintelilgible questions.
"What are you talking about?' she tried to keep the venom in her voice to a minimum, but it was hard.

"OKay sit like this," Sierra crossed her legs and shut her eyes, "Now raise your index finger so its level with your nose and focus all your power into the string of magic." Staight away a red line extened from her finger tip. "NOw open your eyes and see the colour of your power."

Athough Sophie loathed to do anything that this girl instructed, she did as the girl told her and then opened her eyes to see light blue sparks shoot from her finger tips. Her eyes widened in shock and surprise.

"Now touch your thumb to your index finger, and it'll change the colour there the two colous of your magic. And may i say yours is simply beautiful. Mine are red and gold. Red is my family colour, gold is my individual. For instance my brothers colour is red and black." Said Sierra softly spinning her right hand a ring appeared ten feet from her and she pushed the string the the through the ring.

Sophie did as she was told and the color changed from blue to dark purple. Sophie was please the colors were quite beautiful.

"Your colours change with life experience and age." Sierra said her eyes still closed "For instance, watch this my colour is changing because i helped you find your power." Retracting her thumb the colour changed to a stunning shade of pastel green that perfectly matched her eyes
