you should add a third option "both of them"
i picked harry, because i love evertyhing about it, i read fanfiction and all that, but i'm sure that if she writes more books that have nothing to do with harry, i'll buy all the same. |

If it wasn't for Jo we wouldn't have Harry Potter to be obsessed with, but if it wasn't for Harry's popularity then we wouldn't know about J.K. so it works both ways. But I think for most people they are obsessed with Harry Potter and curious about J.K. Rowling and how she came to bring us such an amazing story.

It's not like me to resurrect a dead topic, but this is a poll I wouldn't have minded voting on and I must've somehow missed it till now. So, my answer.....
Personally I wouldn't call my love for either of them an obsession, but my family may have to disagree with that, so I'd have to say I'm more obsessed with Harry. Jo, if she writes something else decent in the future, I may or may not buy it and read it. Whereas with Harry, I will always love his story, even if there comes a time when I will no longer read it. |

I'm obsessed with Harry. If Jo wrote another book I don't think I would be so eager to buy it as with Harry Potter. 1)because she's said herself she'll most likely not write another fantasy and 2)it just wouldn't be the same. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) All my friends say I'm obsessed with Harry and I agree with them. If Harry were real and Hogwarts and everything else I would try to bcome Harry's friend. Of course, the movies and Dan ruined my visoin of Harry, but I love him all the same!(Harry not Dan.) Dan just isn't right in my mind. He's growing to be less and less like Harry.
