"Yes," he said smoothly, trying not to look at the girl, though his heart was still elated. He stepped foward with a grin plastered on his face. "There can be no joy greater than to pass on my knowledge to the next generation. It is more than an honor to teach the wizarding heritage on. Though we will be seperated, we will be as one. Under one banner we shall stand as long as you allow it yourself."

Salazar nodded and students began to file in a line, suprisingly calm. The four of them gathered around the hat as the first student stepped forward, a certain humility and honor in their face.

"Dumbledore, Albus!" Godric called and a tall boy walked forward with courage, he sat on the stool and Godric placed upon him the hat that may be his future

Salazar heard the hat shout "Gryffindor!" and joined in the applause of everyone. The boy ran to sit down at the Gryffindor table alone, but he would soon be joined by others. He knew Godric would be pleased that at the very first soarting, his house was the first to recieve a student. He was passed the list of students and read the next one on the list. "Alsius, Mellisa." When he looked up, he saw the same blue eyes and soft brown locks as the girl, probably about sixteen years old, walked proudly up to sit on the stool. As the hat was placed on her head Salazar watched her carefully. It was nearly a minute of silence for them while the hat decided, but then it finally shouted "Slytherin!" He had to stop himself from jumping up and down for joy. She stood, beaming as she walked to the table with the applause ringing in the hall. Salazar gave her a small smile when she passed. She retured it shyly and hurried on. His grin grew as he gave the list back down the line.

Godric once again found the list in his palms taking a quill and scratching out the name he called, "Potter, Selena!" Godric had to force himself from running foward and hugging her, a girl 16 walked forward straight away he knew who it was from her eyes, two bright green eyes but she had changed now she strode with confidence long, layered staight hair fell down to the small of her back and mixed in through that lavish dark brown hair were streaks of red and golden blonde the very colours of his house. As the hat shouted grffindor she walked past and he clapped her on the back she looked up quizzically. if only you knew who i was to you Selena

The Sorting was over almost as soon as it had begun. Rowena looked around at the students with admiration and excitement, she then began to speak:
"Oh wonderful! The first class of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry! We are very lucky indeed to have you here, and I think I speak for myself, Professor Slytherin, Professor Godric, and Professor Hufflepuff when I say that we cannot wait to begin to boggle your minds with information! But until the term starts tomorrow, use this feast to get to know the people around you, they will be your classmates for the next 7 years! Do any of you have anything to say to the students?" she inquired looking at the other founders.

"I do," Grffindor said stepping foward "you have been chosen for each house because of certain traits of yours; Gryffindor are the brave, Ravenclaw the smart, Slytherin the pure blood, Hufflepuff are the sweet and kind. Now feas and enjoy yourselves, may Selena Potter please come with me." He said motioning to a door at the left.

"Yes proffesor," Selena asked poking her haid through the door
"no need to call me proffesor Selena, I need to tell you something. I understand you grew up without a father?"
"yes but how did you know."
Godric sighed and ran his ran through his hair as was customary when he wsa nervous "this may be hard to believe, but although your mother tried to keep you from me we are finally together the last time i saw you, you were just a newborn."
"WHAT?-"
"Selena I am your father."

As Godric walked through the door with the student, Rowena made a final desicion. She would tell him the truth. Right now. She ran.
"Godric!" Rowena said, slamming through the doors. "I have to tell you somethi---" she was cut of by the sight before her. The girl turned to Rowena with angry tears in her eyes, her face was flushed as if she had just been exersising.
"Oh...erm...sorry..I'll just go..."

"No, this discussion is over." said Selena with a stone cold voice.

"Godric.." said Rowena as she edged closer to him. His face was drenched with tears and he collapsed on the floor before her. "Godric..who is that girl? And what is going on?"

"Rowena tell me what you needed to say first that matter is rather personal." Godric said his vioce venemous at the last words, he stod expectantly but he kept glanging at Selena frowning

"Well what I had to tell you was rather private. But nevermind now, just carry on with Selena. Obviously you two have important matters to discuss. Mine aren't anything that would be important to you anyway..."She said coldly.
She stood there for a brief moment admiring the sorrow being displayed from his face. "Goodbye."

"Rowena! Wait!" Godric yelled, Rowena turned around "look i can talk about Selena right now, but i need to let her think for a long while, please tell me what you were going to say,"

Salazar entered the room and saw the two of them, Rowena's flustered face and Godric's... he couldn't match any emotion with it. "I'm sorry," he said sheepishly, "I didn't mean to interrupt.

"Don't worry Sal, I was just leaving!" said Rowena in a choked sob. And with that, she walked out of the room. Her long robes following behind her with grace.

Salazar stood with his mouth hanging open. "I'm sorry," he told Godric, "I didn't mean to-" He shuffled his feet and looked away. "I hope I didn't ruin anything... please say I didn't."

"Women..." muttered Godric and Slytherin let out a laugh "Salazar, i must speak with you something unexpected has happened."
