Prisoner of Azkaban will be released on different days through out the world. If you've seen it, then you can place your review, or discuss the movie here.
PLEASE DO NOT post reviews or other information about the movie anywhere else. This way you won't ruin it for others. Cheers! |

I think you can safely tell us all about it in here, Pig. Anyone who doesn't want Spoilers, won't come here.

We've just come back from seeing hp3 and also think that it was not up to scratch.
Very disappointed and think that this will be reflected along the line. To me everything was so disjointed, yes a few laughs along the way but not many. The first 2 movies flowed very well but this one was bitty. Not only was Dumbledore changed (for obvious reasons though) but to change the fat lady, no cho chang, battle between scabbers and crookshanks, Rons bed scene even the castle itself. Hagrids hut ???? what was the director and the writer thinking about ? Unimpressed and I definately don't think I'll be wasting my money on getting the dvd  Waited ages and to be honest it wasn't worth the wait. I started looking forward to book 4 but now I don't think I'll bother JK needs to go back to the old format it worked better, maybe its a case of too much of a good thing and now its over. |

I haven't seen the movie yet, and we all are entitled to our opinions, but if I were you, I wouldn't bother seeing any more of the movies.
I go to see the movies for pure entertainment, and not as a movie critic, just so I can pick them apart. This has happened in every one of the movies, and if I had to sit and watch for every little thing I'd stay home. Maybe I won't like it, because it strays from the book too much, but at least I'm going to sit back and enjoy it. I have a friend who went and saw it and thinks it's the best yet. So I guess you can't please them all. HUH Sorry you think so low of them. Next time you should save your money. |

Here is my review people! SPOILER ALERT!
Despite what people have said about Alfonso Cauron ruining the book the film was 'Bloody Brilliant!' The acting of the trip has improved ALOT, except Daniel Radcliffe lack of ability to convince us he is crying, but he portrays the emotion fairly well. Silly thing is that there is about a minute of quidditch, how annoying! As crazy4orli said, Harry recieves his firebolt at the very end, and flies of into our faces to finish the film. The dementors were pretty cool, the bit on the train was quite creepy and edgy. Best line of the film: "Want to get closer?"- Hermione to Ron "W....W...What?" "Closer to the shrieking shack?" He he! 'Closer' to hermy ron thought! Includes Hermy clinging on to Ron as they hear Buckbeak being executed. The part of the film with the time travel was pretty good, apart from the fact Buckbeak doesnt attack Werewolf Lupin..... Pettigrew was believable as a rat when he was in human form, but the whole shrieking shack scene was IMHO poor, and not long enough to tell the story. I think about an hour of the film was on the last 3 chapters of the book. The creepy bit for me was Trelawny in her trance telling her prophecy, and Emma Thompson made a very good Trelawny i might add! Expect some great acting and great visual effects and lots of humour (Mainly from 'Ronald') but see that the film doesnt flow as well as it should, and that the first hour makes the book seem small, due to the many scenes that are cut. We dont get to see Harry win a quidditch. Best bit had to be when Harry conjures the Patronus, really cool, and does Hermiones line justice- "Snape said only a powerful wizard could have conjured the patronus. Also a bit more anger from Harry in the film, love it when he kicks the table by his bed! lol! GREAT film, now we have to wait for the 6th book! Enjoy! |

OMG!!!!!! :D :D :D IVE SEEN IT!!!!!!!!!! Its definately the best out of the films and I LOVE cuaron!!!! sure he did miss out things and im sure when i watch it again I will notice those things a lot more but it is so amazing. I couldnt take my eyes off of the screen. Those of you who back me on the ron/hermione thing will be very happy cos theres a few things in there where I was sat there grinning wanting to scream out 'Ron loves hermione! Hermione loves Ron!' you'll be glad to know I didnt luckily!!! And Daniel has definately improved as an actor. The guys who play fred and george are now actually attempting to have funnier lines and for those who have read the book you can see that. I asked my mum if she thought they were funny and she said no (she hasnt read the books) so unfortunately it doesnt come across that way to other people. Gary Oldman is amazing as sirius and towards the end in the more emotional parts I had a tear in my eye (mainly cos i know what happens in book 5) but he was amazing as his character. So theres the good parts of the film. Bad parts, like I said I'll probably notice more when Ive watched it a few more times but obviously they cut things out like the other 2 quidditch matches etc. Oh, another fave part of mine. I wont spoil it for you. Lets say it involves ron and the other boys in his dormitory and it was very funny and DEFINATELY not in the books! But its great!! Ron still manages to be funny and I realised what a cute squidgy nose rupert grint has hahaha :D there we go, my review. and i tried not to spoil it for anyone
YEAH!!!! I was thinking 'thank you for not making her cling onto harry!!! thank you  i didnt like the end where harry flies into your face though - not good and i almost laughed at harrys attempt to cry which was not good at all :( |

lol you know what else i loved of rons lines whenhes speaking to hermy and part of hermys lines too
OK IF I WERE YOU THIS WILL ACTUALLY SPOIL THE WHOLE FILM FOR YOU SO DONT READ IT IF YOU WANT TO LIVE "does it hurt ron " ( or somthing along those lines it might have been something like that looks bad but i cant remeber... ANYWAY) ron says " yer you know i think they might have to cut it off" i couldnt stop laughing, it was like SYMAPTHY VOTE PLEASE HERMY HE HE and hermys line which i thought was a bit out of character "does my hair really look like that from the back?" lol that made me laugh all the timeturning buisiness i thought was great especially the bit about hermy almost noticing. Draco was really funny he is such a coward! lol when hagrid pics him up his face is classic. AND LOL GENEVIEVE WAS REAL! |

It was rubbish - not like the book and not even a good film in its own right.
Don't waste your money. :( |
