YAY!! But I can say that Ron will have to kill more of them later in the game...
I think Freds and Georges shop is on the sixth floor, in a bathroom... I have to check that out. I have my cheating-papers... ;) |

Anyone who has any tips for how to get through the north wing, when Ron is supposed to throw dungbombs to the trolls to distract them? I was almost at the end when the third one saw me, and I had to start all over again...

Yeah, so am I (on hold), because I'm stuck in hard parts in all of the three games. I can only play QWC for the moment. |

:( I've got POA problems! I have the PC game but am totally 100% stuck! I'm on Harry's final exam in that bit where you keep going down, first there's the imps, then the fire crabs, then more fire crabs, then imps, then imps and salamanders and by the time I get to the salamanders my computer has slowed down loads and it's so hard to control harry and I always end up dying. Has anyone else had this problem, how did you get around it?

No - I haven't had those problems.
It works much better on my new puter than on the old one though. Can you allocate more RAM-memory for the game?. It sounds as if your computer starts to swap the RAM-memory on to the harddisk cause there is problems with sufficient memory. I'm on the wrong computer so I can't check if it's possible. If you have other programs running try to close those before running the program. You can also try to allocate less space for the windows/xp or... If it is windows or xp it has probably allocated more space than needed for the game to run. If you do the latter you probably have to change back to the prior allocation to have your other windows programs perform properly (browser, word etc.) |

The new games always needs more memory, new graphics cards and more space on the HDD. That's why I don't have PoA, QWC or The Sims 2 on my computer. I have a lap, and I can't change anything on it. I'm gonna buy a better computer round christmas, so I can play the games. :)
I'll check out what kind of graphics card you need, and how much memory and space on the HDD you need. :) |

My laptop's about 6 months old so it shouldn't be too outdated or anything but I'll check anyway. Thanks WOD for your suggestions, once I work out how actually to do what you're saying, I'll try that out. (I'm not the best when it comes to technical compuery stuff!)
