Ever wonder what happened to them? I sure do! I say this is right after Hogwarts is opened for the first time. You can be one of the four or make up your own character!

Salazar Slytherin straightened his cloak and looked at the others. He could see the anticipation and worry that filled his own face mirrored in theirs. "Here we go," he said quietly with a smile. They stood before the doors of the Great Hall, ready for the students to file in and be sorted as they had planned. He looked at each of them with a grin. "You ready?" Slytherin was young, not only physically but his actions showed it, though his experience and maturity was beyond any wizard his age. His black hair hung in his dark eyes that showed more pain than they should have. Even with a smile on his face, it seemed to be filled with sorrow.

Rowena examined the wondrous crowd before her.
“Oh Salazar! Imagine what sort of brain power lies before us! These students are just infested with intelligence!”
Rowena Ravenclaw was an interesting piece of work. She had dark, long black hair that went down to her curvy hips. Her hazel eyes were large and curious. As she stood there in her olive-green robes, she became more and more anxious to begin the sorting.

"Yes," he replied, "but I think we're making the wrong decision; splitting them up, I mean. It'll cause more trouble that it's worth. The four of us are proof that even the most different of people can become friends and create something great. Why seperate them?"
He looked away from Rowena. Salazar never felt quite comfortable with her or any of them for that matter. As he was the youngest, he often felt as if they assumed superiority over him. That was something he couldn't take lightly.

"Oh Sal! It is just a more organized method of going about it! Don't be so worried! They will all get along!"
But in her heart, she knew she was lying.

"Yah, I hope so," he replied. He felt like a hypocrite, knowing he himself didn't get along with the other three. But he felt that these students should. "Rowena, remind me again how many students you accepted." He was trying anything to keep the conversation away from him. But somehow in the end, it always ended up coming back...

"We have accepted 200 students. Why do you ask?"
Rowena was worried....she could feel the conversation about to pop up again...

"Right, sorry." He was failing. "It's almost time," he muttered.
"Not quite," Gryffindor said, "It's not yet 7:00."
Salazar bit his lip. He hoped this wouldn't end in an arguement as it always did. Not today at least. They had to remain calm. This was the beginning of what they were certain was a school that could endure. A place of safety and learning. But what school began with it's leaders fighting. Some example that would be.

"yes well....shall we wait at the gates?" Godric asked; he was again different to the rest a tall form of sculpted muscle, with curls of coal colour hair a sword hanging from a ruby encrusted belt gleamed gold in the sunset, in his eye keen intelligence mixed with bravery and anticipation.

"It's not to late to change our minds," Salazar said, "We don't need to split them up like this. It's a terrible idea in the least. Who was fool enough to come up with this idea in the first place?"

"you twas it not?" Gryffindor said, turning around and facing the black haired man "salazar do not make this harder than it already is no one is a cool as the ocean with this everyone is nerous do NOT make it harder."

"Well there is no turning back now." Rowena consented as the students began to file in line for the Sorting.
"The time has come Godric...remember what we spoke about before..remember I will always be your friend. If this doesn't work, then we shall fix it. ..." Rowena said quietly.

She smiled and turned to face the students as they stood in line full of anxiousness and anticipation. In her heart she knew her true feelings for Godric were strong and full of passion, but it would never be...he was only a genuine friend to her. But sometimes she just wished that it was more, and that he felt the same way....Her thoughts were soon interupted by a loud voice echoing through the vast Great Hall.

A little boy ran through the hall hollering and screaming with ecitment kids so easialy excited....ah rowena look at you as beautiful as the sun is bright yet you are too wound in your vast knowlegde to love another, 'tis a shame....a terrible shame Godric thought to himself, then the child ran up and hugged rowena around the knees shouting cries of yay and woop and hurrah, and rowena pulled hi from her legs and directed him towards the other students a dazziling smile spread broad across her face, godricclosed his eyes and thought of her....

Salazar tried not to look too on edge as he watched the young ones running around. He glanced over at Godric and saw him gazing down at Rowena... the adoration in his eyes was all to apparent. She was coming between the two best friends, and Salazar was the only one to see it. He cringed and glanced around at the students who were finally beginning to assemble to the seats. He motioned for the others to follow as he made his way to the front of the room where the new made Sorting Hat sat on a stool. "Here goes nothing," he muttered to them, trying to sound light-hearted. But his worry and anticipation shown through. He was glad, however, that they would only think it was the responsibility of the new school on his shoulders. They would never suspect the truth.. they couldn't know what he was planning.

"welcome students to hogwarts, you will be sorted into houses either my own Gryffindor, Rowena's house raven claw," he said moiting to rowena "huffellpuff or slytherin,"

Salazar grinded his teeth as his fists clenched unbidden. His face redended in anger and his skin burned. He was ready to step forward and protest until he saw those eyes. The sweet, azure gaze softened his hate and loosened the tension in his chest. He smiled in spite of himself and saw to his joy that his smile was returned. She had long burnette hair that was pulled back, though loose strands hung in her fair face. Then Salazar snapped back to reality and broke his gaze from her.
