Okay, as far as I know, I don't recall seeing a Dan thread, so I'll start one. This is not all about luvy-wuvy stuff, k? It's also about Dan and his career and other things.
I'll start off to say how much much he has grown since beginning this endeavor as Harry Potter. I've made a little picture to show what I mean. . . (IMG:http://www.harrypotterspage.com/images/dan/theprogression.jpg) |

Oh thank you Dij.......high time we had one for Dan. The photos are great. Wasn't he just the cutest little boy.
I noticed in the credits of both movies, one for a Radcliffe.......does anyone know if that is a relative of Dan's? Next time I watch it I'll make a note of the Christian name. |

My my. Our little Dan really is growing up, isn't he? Not that round faced cute little boy anymore. But really becoming a man. Thanks for the pics Dijares! It really shows how quickly kids grow right before our eyes. :o

I think that's Mark Radcliffe, and there is no relation. I've checked into that a few years back with the first movie. ;) |

I. like everyone else, noticed a big change from SS/PS and COS, now the difference is becoming greater. I love being able to watch the kids grow from year to year, and their acting gets better as the go along.

Baty hit the nail right on the head there! *wallops nail* They have gotten a million times better since the begginning of TPS... That almost put me off seeing any more... NOTE ALMOST!
I have this awesome friend Ash, and every time I see him he makes a suggestion about who should play a HP character. His all-time best was Ah-nuld "Governor of California? That's it, I quit!" Schwartzenegger as Lupin. |

Fingers crossed he stays at that height and build for GoF and OotP. Don't want him to be a 'giant' when that time comes.

Why not? Because he is Harry Potter - not your average everyday kid who plays football, not the 'tall' and 'manly' bloke who has all the girls, not the badboy who always gets into trouble and has a mischevious face, not the nerd with glasses who gets all his questions right but The-Boy-Who-Lived!

They had him doing a lot of weights for COS b/c of the car scene and the scene with the sword - guess it weighed a bit, and he had to use it for weeks, i'm sure, to do that scene.

If anyone ever tells you that a sword is light, slap them for me. I have a sword, and I train for at least 10 minutes every darn day - don't have time for more - and I still have trouble balancing the darn thing... I am THIS CLOSE to trading it for a katana, they're lighter and look cooler...

I am jealous of your friend.
Actually a fair few of my friends have katanas too... But me, I had to be DIFFERENT, so I got the "King Arthur" model... I'm a total Baka. |
