Sirius..., Gone forever?

As you all must know, the Sirius Black's "Have you seen this wizard" poster contains 2 runes. They are called PERTH (wich looks like a sideways top hat) and ALGIZ (which looks like a "Y" with an extra line in the middle). PERTH means secret or hidden things, as well as new beginnings and rebirth after death. ALGIZ means protection, or a mentor or advisor. So, do you think thats what JK was talking about when she said that Cuaron pput some clues without even realizing it? The tattoos in Sirius' chest? Do you think its saying that Sirius will come back to life in the futures books? Please tell me what you think!!!!

Big HP Fan Group: Members Posts: 519 Joined: 30-May 04 Member No.: 191	according to what i remember JKR saying, that sirius would not come back. now what i think that she ment was that he would not come back to life or even as a ghost, from what nearly headless nick has said in OOTP. but there has been some speculation that sirius will be mentioned in book 6. how? i don't know. will harry be able to talk to him? i don't know. so, it is a wait and see game for us all. but look at the bright side, we are not going to have to wait much longer. july is almost upon us and the books will be in our hands before we know it. and beleive me, it is hard keeping myself occupied until it comes.

I don't and can't know, obviously, but I wouldn't be surprised if Harry doesn't make good use of that mirror in Books 6 or 7 (after Hermione repairs it with "Reparo!) :) :hufflepuff:

well i am 95% sure JKR said that we will be seeing that mirror again and used by harry and ron.

That would be so disappointing if that happened unless it was through a portrait or the mirror. But not come back alive from the dead.

JK is so cautious about what she tells the public, I can't see her going back on her statement. :( We will probably encounter him on a different plane possible if Harry is near death at one point and he will rouse Harry to fulfill his destiny. Just a theory. I have always felt that the mirror will be of use at some point. I can still remember how I felt while reading the book. I was shouting at my book for Harry to open the darn present! Yep I am a dork! :D

But in answer to Meli's question: Sirius wont come back from the dead or even as another figure, the mirror will do the trick...

My theory is that Sirius is in a state between life and death. I don't believe that the spell Bellatrix used on Sirius right before we fell through the veil was a killing spell. So I think Sirius fell through in a stunned state, and now he exists behind the veil in an in-between state. I don't think he'll come back to Harry, but I do think that if he is in an in-between state, then Harry will be the one who will release his soul so he can move on to the next great adventure. It's sad...very sad, but I think Sirius is definitely gone for good.

I could just imagine him shouting at Sirius,"SIRIUS!" I could just imagine it saying he would be saying it, but not even recognizing his own voice. It would just be so dramatic! I'm getting a lump in my throat just thining about it. Maybe somebody pulling at Harry and shouting at Harry,"LET"S GO!", but Harry wouldn't want to go.
