Wizard and Sorcery in the Past, What was it like to be a wizard in the medieval ages? Options

Okay, so i wanna try this, hopefully that's okay. I want to start a role play in the medieval ages with wizards. So, please keep that in mind, NO modern technology.

Name: Amber (i might change it, i'll let you guys know)
Description: amber colored eyes, light brown hair, pale skin. She's fairly pretty, but not really gorgeous.
Personalitly: mean and "in your face", outgoing but scared to get close to anyone, she doesn't have friends. She works as a servant in a large manor house, she doesn't know she's a wizard yet
Age: 16

Amber moped at her brow with a damp rag. She'd been working in the fields all day in the burning heat and now she was cooking a meal for the high-ranking servants. Amber had been a low-ranking servant since before she could remeber. Her mother was a higher-ranking servant, but Amber was not as talented as her mother. Her mother did not even acknowledge Amber's existance. Amber didn't know who her father was and she didn't care. She was not interested in meeting another relative that would reject her.

Well i guess, i really wanted this like characters from before then, like godric gryfindor. But if you want to be draco go ahead.

It needs to be potter based so get some ancestors in your story. Let's see why the current characters are like they are.

Okay. Sure you can be ancestors of the malfoys, that would be fine.

Malfoy slowly walked down the grand marble staircase.
He spotted the servant girl at the bottom of the stairs. She had a tray in hand walking towards the great room.
'Blasted' Malfoy thought. 'if only she wasnt a servant!'

I'll take a whack at it. I will be Harry, I suppose.



Harry watched Amber as she mopped her brow. To everyone else she was an ordianry girl, but to Harry she was far from ordinary. He found her beautiful, no, more than beautiful.
She was his world, and yet she didn't even know he exisited. As she stopped for a break, Harry noticed Malfoy decending the Grand Marble stair case.
Oh Joy, thought Harry.
Something was BOUND to go wrong here. Malfoy was always the center of attention, and the "Trouble maker". Plus they never really got along. He studied Amber for a few more seconds before departing. He was not going to be anywhere near Malfoy when he was about to do something that was clearly going to upset by standers. Besides, he didnt need to make himself noticed by Amber. It was better off being invisible to her, that way he could always watch her and know that even if she wsnt with a guy like him that she would be happy... or at least he hoped.

Malfoy rolled his shoulders as he passed Amber.
He opened his mouth to tell her some searing remark when something in the corner of his eye caught him.
"Oy! Potter!"
Malfoy Sneered
"Come here and take this tray from this girl, you lazy mud-blood. You dont mind do you? giving this girl a chance to get off her feet?"

Harry spun around and watched as Malfoy insulted him, yet again. This was unusual though. Harry was absoulutly positive he was about to insult Amber, but to his utter surprise it had back fired on him. He turned around slowly and faced Malfoy. The girl looked just as shocked as Harry felt. After a few moments of silence, Harry walked up to the beautiful girl. Butterflys erupted in his stomach as he took the tray from her. His gaze met hers, but only for a fraction of a second before he let them drop. Being this close to her made him feel anxious and nervous. He turned towards Malfoy and said politely,
" Of Course, Draco. But next time, please dont use that offensive word in front of me, or Amber".
Harry turned his attention back to the girl, and asked, "Where do you need this,"? indicating to the tray between his two very white, shaken hands.

"What? Mud-blood?" Malfoy sneered. "Because thats what you are. A mud-blood, your mother wasnt a witch and your father was a blood traitor! He was arranged to marry my mother before that lazy squib got pregnant." Malfoy taunted at him.
"You, girl, i need you to come here. Follow me." He stepped back and waited for the girl to pass him.

My character is named Sadius (Ravenclaw's grandson)
He has black hair, bright blue eyes, is handsome beyond all reason.
He is extremely introverted and power hungry. Very selfish and not too nice.

Sadius saw no reason to join in the drama as he walked past the two arguing. He didn't even awknowledge the girl. With a gloved hand, his swept his hair from his face and continued across the room.

Harry's cheeks flushed a lovley red, his body viciously shaking with anger. How dare Malfoy tell of his personal life? Not many new about him being a Mud-Blood, and shock spread across Harry's face as Malfoy taunted him with ease. Harry put the tray down gently, afraid to scare Amber. He put his hand in his pocket and tightly gripped his 9-inch wand. It was the wrong thing to do, Harry knew it. But the thought of disarming Malfoy right now was more beautiful than water in a dry desert. Finally, with difficulty, Harry let go of his wand, his nuckles white from the pressure.
"How dare you order her around?" he indicated to Amber. Then, swiftly, Harry turned slowly, flashing a beautiful smile at Amber, and retreated the scene. As he immerged from the Great Hall, and into the grounds he noticed a familiar figure a few yards away.
" Sadius!" called Harry, catching up to the boy.

Sadius continued walking. His master was expecting him and he had no time to dawdle.
"Have you news of importance?" he asked curtly.

Malfoy narrowed his eyes as the two boys converesed. They had nothing in comman, what could they be talking about Malfoy wondered to himself.
"Girl! Pick up that tray and go now!" Malfoy ordered.
He slyly made his way to the men. Blast, if only i had something to listen with!

"Yes," answered Harry darkly. It was odd. Being in the presence of Sadius mad him change his ways. Be something he wasn't. It wasn't good nor bad. Just simply was.
"Master wants to see both of us," continued Harry, his eyes narrowing while he noticed Malfoy behind them.

"Sadius! What are you doing around this bit of flith?"
Malfoy sneered as Potter turned his head.

Harry laughed out loud. Did Malfoy not know that Sadius and Harry were on the same team also? Suppose not. Mayeb he should keep it to himself just in case anyway. He rolled his eyes in the direction of Sadius. "Your right," said Harry. He casually walked away from the two, his mind set elsewhere. "Why would I want to hang out with Filth like Malfoy"?

Malfoy gripped his wand. "How dare you!" he said branishing his wand.

Harry rolled his eyes and peered at Sadius.
"So.. your saying it's ok for you to call me filth, but if I call you it, you start acting like a pansy and want to fight? Very mature Malfoy".
