Trailer Discussions, What do you think? Options

Hey guys,

I'm suprised no one has beat me to this! Have you all seen the trailer yet? It's looking so good! A couple of points of interest:

I like that they've released it as one trailer covering both movies, keeps up the suspence as to where they will split it. They have made it very action heavy, I know they have some emotional stuff with Harry and Voldy at the end but I would have liked to see maybe some of the Harry/Ron fighting in there or the Harry talking about leaving Ginny...something like that just to break it up a little. Also pretty sure about 70% if not more of the footage they used is from the final battle at Hogwarts which makes me think the split might come quite late in the book if they have so much footage to chose from.

Also no mention of the hallows or the horocrux's (other than Voldy's hint about living forever) is this because they covered it in the other trailer? I would have liked something in there though, it just seems very final battle focused like I said, but that's probably just the vibe of this particular trailer?

Who is Aberforth? He looks so much like DD in the trailer is it actually Michael Gambon, or is that DD in a flashback perhaps?

Olivander is in the trailer, but it's not the same actor from the first movie.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the person (a new character I think) standing in front of the Hogwarts Express? It looks to me like a Death Eater but I'm not sure. I seem to remember it being mentioned in the book that the DE went aboard the train on the way to Hogwarts but I'm not 100% sure.

Also do we think there will be another trailer coming out before the release? Come on guys, the boards have been so dead but we have something to discuss now!! Let me know what you think!

I just got my computer back from being rebuilt, and when I got it home I got no sound out of it, which in the store it worked, so I've not seen the trailer because of not having any sound, but.....

The one thing I can answer is about Aberforth. He's DD brother so I imagine they might use Gambon, but they didn't use him before.

Once I see it I'll be able to give respond to you.

Just *finally* got to watch the DH Trailer, and WOW!

Now the big question.... The Split....

I'm hoping it's after they enter the Malfoy Manor and while Hermione is being tortured. If they leave that out I will be ticked. Anyway that's where I'd like to see it split.

I think it's great. I always have to run it backwards and pause the action so I can see the fast action better.

We can at least get a better idea of where break point is for the two halves.

We have long speculated that the point would be shortly after the visit to the Lovegood's.

The clips shown seem to support that. My guess is that the break point will be when they leave Shell Cottage to break into Gringott's.

Nothing in trailer is shown to suggest Gringott's makes an appearance in part 1. Although in fairness, nothing about Shell Cottage is really shown either.

They could break right after visiting Luna's house, but I think having Dobby die (if indeed they include that) and them making final preparations would be a much more dramatic point to make the break.

Well, I do know where it breaks, and no I'm not telling. A little investigating will give you the answer though.

My reaction to the main trailer just released:......*silence*.....*watches again*.....*silence*....there are no words

THE LATEST TRAILER IS AMAZING!!!!! (yes I know it's in Caps, that's because I am yelling!)

Pretty sure the spilt is just after Dobby's death or at least after he saves them from the cellar, as Dobby is in the trailer and we know Peter is only in the first movie because of his interview last year.
