Lily stared at Remus. "You know I think your right. Ill go talk to him." Lily told him
She wandered down the 7th floor and down stair cases.
She thought the corriders would be deserted, but they were not. People were all around here, shouting "Do you remeber when...." Some even called out to here "Hey Evans!"
She stood at the top of the marble stair case when she saw James standing in front of Serverus. Neither one of them saw her. She listened to the exchange that passed betweeen them.
Tears were brought to her eyes when Serverus said "But you say If I love her..I'll let her go. I dont believe in that. If I love her, I'll never give up." She then walked down the Marble stair case. "Snape?" She asked softly. She then saw James turn around with shock on his face.

"Lily"! said Severus excitedly." You came". He walked past James and down to where she stood.

Serverus was walking towards her but she put her hand up to stop him. she walked around him and went to satand next to James. "I came to see what you wanted to say to me, but you can tell me now." She told him.

Severus slputtered.
" But Lily, No..I wont. Not infront of him".

"It's okay, I'll go. Harry is probably hungry anyways," James said swooping down and planting a kiss on Lily's perfect lips. "I'll be in the common room. I love you."

Severus grimanced as the man kissed the love of his life. Once James had dissapeared Severus questions," Whats happened to you"? he was hurt, but he was more than hurt, he was dissapointed. He had so many questions to ask... but where to start?

James' golden eyes were as bright as Snapes eys were dark and they were always incredibly warm like melted honey. Harry wasn't hungry infact he was sound asleep. James was the only one awake, he curled up infront of the fire stressing over Snape and Lily. What if she decided she loved him instead? What if he spelled her stomach so the baby was in the likeness of him? What if....

Severus moved over towards Lily, and for the first time in his life, he wished he was James.
" I see you've got another coming along," he smield and indicated at her belly. " Your lucky ,you know that"?

James needed space, he needed air, tonight the stag would run again. He stood up and slammed the portrait of the pink lady behind him. He raced dow the stairs and onto the ground the minute he was through the doors he was the four legged animal and he leaped across th grass alonside the lake. As he ran he thought of his last kiss with lily it wa so much like the first swift and in passing he wished he had made more ofit what if something happened...He whirled around still as the stag he galloped through the corridors making people move for him never slowing as he approached them finally he saw Lily's red hair. He remembered what she has asked 15 years ago.
"Could I ever ride on you?" Lily's eyes glistened then burned with dissapointment when James said no.
Now back in the present James nudged his soft muzzle into her back and lowered hiself as if too say 'climb aboard'

Lily stared at serverus. He had looked at her before, but not recently. "Yeah, I guess i am lucky." she told him. She watched him take a breath and step one step closer. He opened his mouth and just as his lips began to form, she heard galloping hooves and screams. She felt a slight nudge on the small of her back. And when she turned around, there was Prongs, his noble head turned down as if saying "Climb on." She now had to make a decesion. Just then she heard Snapes angrey voice.

Severus was about to yell. But found the better of it. He stepped back slowly.
" You've won James," he said softly to the stag. " You've won,". Lily would never go for him. Not in a million years..so why chance it?

lily was torn: She should listen to Serverus, She should listen to James. The man she had a child with, or the man who first loved her. Several minutes ticked by as she stood standing as a battle raged behind her green eyes. She turned towards prongs. "Wait for me, one more time, this is the last time i'll ask you." She then turned to Snape, "What do you need to tell me?"

James hung his head and turned his back to the love of his life. But despite his annoyance he layed down at Lily's feet, his fury head resting on her feet.

" Can he leave," suggested Severus. " Barely five minutes previous had we seen James. Can't he leave us for a few secounds,?" He looked down at the stag.

James' golden eyes the same colour as his human form looked up at snape as if to say 'i'm not going anwhere.'

But it wasn't up to James. It was Lily's decision. So Severus looked back down at the stag as if to say " We'll see".

JAmes knew his wife wasn't going to make him leave. Well at least he hoped. She'd asked him to wait...for seven years but he didn't think he could wait another 10 minutes.

" You've waited for seven years, James. I'm sure 10 minutes wont hurt," he continued softly.
