Hi - first time posting here.
Does anyone know how Nigel gets the sword of Griffyndor in his hands in order to kill the snake? The last time you see the sword, Griphook has taken it back at Gringott's when Harry, Ron & Hermione pillaged the LeStrange vault. How did the sword get to Hogwort's? Is this ever explained?

Yes I believe it came out of the sorting hat. I think no matter where the sword is a true Gryffindor can always pull it out of the hat.

I cannot BELIEVE I said Nigel instead of Neville!!! I should be shot for that!! The sorting hat makes sense. I remember Harry tells him to kill the snake but I don't remember Harry telling him to get the sword from the sorting hat, I guess he figured it out himself! Thank you!!

Welcome to the boards shirecreature.

You're new to the boards so I want to let you know about one of the rules. We don't double post on these boards. I know you had two different people to respond to but there is a way to do that. Thanks for your cooperation about this.

Also the sorting hat came to him remember when Voldy was talking to Neville. He forced the hat onto Neville and said something like "there will be no more sorting at hogwarts"

I believe he then drew the sword from the hat (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

That's ok I won't be posting any more if I'm going to get snotty responses like this. You could have nicely told me how NOT to double post and I would have done that, obviously I don't know how if I didn't do it.

Well in the first place I asked you nicely, and now since you want to be nasty about it you won't have to worry about posting. You are suspended!!!
