Hi - first time posting here.
Does anyone know how Nigel gets the sword of Griffyndor in his hands in order to kill the snake? The last time you see the sword, Griphook has taken it back at Gringott's when Harry, Ron & Hermione pillaged the LeStrange vault. How did the sword get to Hogwort's? Is this ever explained? |

Yes I believe it came out of the sorting hat. I think no matter where the sword is a true Gryffindor can always pull it out of the hat.

Also the sorting hat came to him remember when Voldy was talking to Neville. He forced the hat onto Neville and said something like "there will be no more sorting at hogwarts"
I believe he then drew the sword from the hat (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

i just wanted to add that he sets the hat on fire and neville is petrified. but the charms voldey put on everyone won't hold because harry did for them what his mother did for him.
