Sophie's misery was turning into anger.
"Yes, you're really sorry!" she shouted, then she turned and ran out of the dormitory. She ran into the first empty class room and sank down onto the floor sobbing her heart out. Yet she had only been crying for a short while, when she pulled herself together. She told herself she didn't care about him, she didn't care if he didn't like her; even if he was the most beautiful person in the world or anywhere. She sighed and blinked back more tears. Sophie had told her self if she ever saw Jeff again she would not respond, just ingore him, but when he smiled, an angelic smile, and said hello in that way she nearly was blown off her feet. yet, she managed to shake herself to harsh reality and murmer a hi without glancing at his beautiful face. As soon as she was past him she felt a lot better, she had managed to walk away from him, and it had been easier than she had imagened it.
