QUOTE
The first is a person short of wit.
The second is something that a winner did.
The third is the centre or the mid.
Put those together and you'll find,
A thing that holds secrets inside of it's mind.

Like I said I'm not too good at making riddles. ;)

THATS SOOOO GOOD!

Let me try!

I've lived all my life in a misty haze,
Two gryffindors have followed my untrustworthy craze,
Twice i've been right, many a time i've been wrong
Just be glad i never sing a song....

Lol its rubbish and TERRIBLY easy!

I was thinking of Dumbledore, because of Dumb, and Dementor, since you can pronounce the first one Dim...

Winner through me, was never thinking of a race, I was thinking of all sorts of celebrations

I still dont get ore as being centre or Mid.

Due to your spelling of Centre, with "re" rather than "er", I thought it might be something European...so basically gave the riddle a pass.

I think I'll try this, it sounds fun. sorry if i'm wrong about the first line, but when i read i thats how old i thought the character was.

I don't go to Hogwarts although I'm of age
But I've almost been trapped in a watery grave
My strange appearance made Ron rightfully suspicious
And my last name reminds you of something judicious

This might be misleading, but I think its easy. Good luck, anyway.

I think I'll try a harder one now.

I'm an adult who acts like a kid
And many of times I've partook in a bid
But I'm not very good at it, I'll give you that
Tell you what, I'll bet that on my green, lucky hat

I think that one is a little more trickier. Congrats in advance to the person who gets them.

This is a fun topic - and you are just so cool at writing riddles. I love them but I haven't been able to condtruct one myself just yet.

Harrypotter you may think the first of your riddles is easy but I can't guess.. the second however I think is the very only Mr. Ludo Bagmann

It could be Fudge or Bagman, both fit... betting is Bagman, Fudge wears a green bowler hat, both are very immature.

Way back on page two, RWR and S16 were right that mine was Firenze!! Very good, I thought it was hard.

Also I agree that the ones harrypotter wrote are either Fleur and Bagman or her little sister and Bagman. :highfive:

Arsi, you've got me stumped! Each line seems like a different character. Dudley? Snape? Flitwick? Who conducts the choir or any type of singing?? :dunno:

mollyweasley is right about mine. it is gabrielle delacour and ludo bagman. i couldn't get the rhyme for suspicion, and i know it made it sound like fleur, but it did say that gabrielle resembled fleur, who resembled a veela. so.....

also, to clear it up, ludo bagman had a green lucky hat- the irish hat at the quidditch world cup with a four leaf clover on it.

arsi, i think your's is dudley. i don't know the conducting to sing or once resembled a deer part means, but the greatest fear is what dudley thought of when the dementor came and what jk said we will find out, and Dudley went pink the night the dementors came, which makes the air really cold.

here's two more-

Unless you return what is rightfully mine,
I'll punish you with a magical fine.
You can only visit me in between your classes,
But don't expect excitement if you don't have passes.

First is an ache that is painful and red
Second is what's left when you take away pain from a colorful drawing
And third is an item you wear on your head
Read them in order and you'll get something which at your mind may be gnawing

Good luck with that one, and the fourth line is pretty much for show because i couldn't find a good line with a rhyme for drawing- flawing, clawing, cawing, sawing ???? don't let some of the wordplay fool you!

The Librarian Madam Pince or whateva her name is...

Second...well...in my opinion none of the clues make any sense. Taking pain away from a colourful drawing ?!

Once I some what resembled a deer,
You have not seen my greatest fear,
Pink was my color on one cold night,
I conducted people so to sing right,

The answer is Pansy Parkinson

She was given antlers while on the Inquisitorial sqad,
She was in Slytherin, so you didnt get to see her boggart,
She wore pink robes to the Yule Ball
She conducted people in singing "Weasley Is Our King." during a quidditch match.

I really thought "conducted" would be a dead give away.

Yeah, I came up with the same conclusion, after some thinking.

First is an ache that is painful and red: Sore
Second is what's left when you take away pain from a colorful drawing: Painting - Pain = ting
And third is an item you wear on your head: Hat
Read them in order and you'll get something which at your mind may be gnawing

Sorting Hat
