I think I would have to say Lothlorien, Rivendell, and the Shire. Of course elves rule so its obvious why I like my first 2 picks, and I don't know I just like the Shire for some reason. and for your information I do think Orlando Blom is hot, I guess he isnt bad (and please no one feel offended) but I am more of a Craig Parker fan (Haldir) and Elijah Wood is up there near the top. Just so 8ball doesn't get the impression that all girls like OB.

Gondor. The might of the human race. Even though it is in decline. If we take all that have existed in this particular universe then I would have to say Númenor. Their power was so great that Sauron feared them enough to surrender to them. That he later brought about their downfall is irrelevant :D

Maybe there's another reason, but I'm not really a true LoTR fan, so I wouldn't know, but The Shrine seems interesting. The name is defenitely catchy, but I don't like the idea of walking around with no shoes on! LOL, but that's just me! I hate walking around the house with no shoes on! Well, anyway...I went OT. Sorry, mods, again! Well, anyway, can somebody explain to me why it's called The Shrine?

The great kingdom of Khazad - dum (Moria) is my choice, Moria has a great history that leads back to creating of Middle Earth, Aüle the God of creating made the dwarfs before the elves had woked up.
The Greatest of the seven fathers of the Dwarfs, Durin founded the kingdom in ancient times. Imagine the great halls long ago, before the Balrog and the orcs, long corridors and great halls full of lights. The sound of hammers hitting anvils, and the walls glittering with mithil! Moria an easy choise |

Mathias I think you mean Cirdan the Shipwright.
I love Rivendell for it's beauty and serenity, Mirkwood for the trees and privacy and Rohan for it's noble horses but there can really be no doubt where my heart lies most. Oh Lothlorien, the golden wood! To set my eyes on the plains of Cerin Amroth with her star while niphredil and golden elanor! To explore the glorious wood and live amongst the mallorn with their proud sliver trunks and fine golden leaves! To sail slowly down the Anduin as she passes by and admire the glory of Lorien from within my boat! Do I not have a friend in these passions? |

Me Archina! Since the first time I read these books and Tolkien describes Lothlorien, I have been wishing there was really a place like that in this world, and there may be. I just don't know where it is.
