For some reason I think Malfoy will die in the beginning of the book 06<_<

Well i disagree with you there because all the Harry Potter books i have read so far, no BIG deaths have happened at the beginning of the books, but then again you could be right i could be wrong.

No, Draco won't die, I just know it. But if he does die, then I will cry. That's all for now.

I don't think Draco will die. I think he could possibly redeem himself and change over to the good side, but that's not to say I think he and Harry will be best friends. They'll still hate each other, just be fighting together. But I only thing he'll stay alive IF he goes over to the good side. If Draco stays with the Death Eaters....yea, I think he'll die.

I love a bad guy in books and Draco is one of those bad guys you love to hate. I hope he stays bad, but can't see him dying. Though as for him being evil? No, just a jerk but a nice jerk. 03;)

You're right, Baty! 01:) I love bad guys in books as well. Every books needs a few bad boys, and Draco should stay in the last book, not dying. 01:)

If I'm being honest, I never liked Draco. I never even liked him as a bad guy. His parents, I think they are hysterical, but Draco....eh. Which is weird because that's how I see Snape acting at that age, but I LOVE Snape!
Anywho, the more and more I read the more I think that Draco just has to redeem himself in the 7th book, because he really isn't evil at all, just a spoiled brat. But part of me can also see him dying and Narcissa going crazy about how she regrets everything with the Death Eaters and it's not worth it...etc. And she'll try to talk Bellatrix out of it, and Bella will go pyscho like she always does...blah blah.
Wow, yea, it could really easily go either way.

i think he`s going to die.. although i hope he doesn`t. if that makes sense. but i would hate to see him turn good. maybe a little, but all good would be way too un-dracoish. yeah. that would be bad.

mmm, i'm not sure if he'll die or not... i mean, i said ( i don't know if i did it in this topic) that vodlemort won't forgive him so easy, for not being able to kill DD, so we could think that he'll kill him soon, and he could die at the end of the book... but now that i come to think about it again... maybe Draco failed when he had to kill dumbledore... but he had success with the room of requirement, and it was thank to him that the death eaters could enter into hogwarts!

I think Voldemort is going to use Draco to watch over Snape. Because you can tell the two get along, and that would be Draco's chance to prove himself to Voldemort if he could disprove Snape's loyalty.
But I think if that does happen, he might rat Snape out but then warn him, and die in the process. Oh who knows.

Know what Bellezza? You make a good point. I never thought about Voldemort having Draco watch over Snape. Maybe this will be Draco's way of getting back into Voldemorts good graces since he wasn't able to kill Dumbledore himself. Well that's if Dumbledore is really dead! 04:P 03;)

mmm... sorry but now I have to disagree, maybe voldemort put Draco to watch over Snape... before. But now that Snape killed DD, voldemort has no reasons to mistrust him... Have Draco, who failed him, to watch over the man that had succes in a task that even Voldemort couldn't? mmm... i don't think so... Unless voldemort is so smart that he still mistrusts Snape, as he should do, because snape's in the good side. But that's another topic, so that's all.

The thing is though...Snape did what Voldemort could NEVER do--get rid of Dumbledore. And if I were as powerful as Voldemort I would be curious about the validity of that death because though Snape might claim loyalty to the Dark Lord he was still at Hogwarts for a long time, and he could have had the chance to plan that death or fake it with Dumbledore's knowing. Therefore, Voldemort needs to double check Snape's sincerity, and Malfoy could very easily do that, and without much suspicion.

iareaj and Bellezza, you both make good points about this but I have to say that I like the point of where Bellezza is coming from. Snape did that way too easy, considering how powerful Dumbledore is; so if I were Voldemort I'd want to keep an eye on him. But you also know what I feel about Dumbledore's death.... But we'll leave sleeping dogs lie for now. hehe 04:P

well, yes, that could be, it was indeed very easy... he killed him, just like that! so, yes, if voldemort is that smart, he'll want to know what's behind that death, and he'll soon discover that snape is in the good side, but my question is: why draco? i think he should be really mad at Draco... does voldemort give second chances?

He would give it to Draco because Draco needs redemption for having failed his original task. Also, Draco and Snape are close....especially as far as teachers and students go, so while Snape would trust Draco, he might also be weary. This is where I think Draco knowing Occlumency or Legillimens would be helpful...though I'm not sure where he'd learn it from.

I read somewhere, in one of Jo's interviews, that she said Harry and Draco will never fight for the same side. Or it was something along those lines. This makes me believe that Draco will die...because I still think he will be assigned to Snape, and something will happen where I think Bellatrix suspects him, and kills Draco. For some reason, I see Bellatrix killing her nephew.

i hope he doesn't, because i quite favour the dark side, and to be honest draco makes a nice addition to the dark arts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/darkside.gif)
