EVERYONE, EVERYONE, EVERYONE as I have reported in the other mod section that this was reported and Dij has blocked the person.

Just for your info.... I came on the other night to find those post all over the boards. I deleted all the posts, and Dij, when she was able to get internet access, banned the guy and his IP. Unfortunately we do not have access to your pm's, as we shouldn't, so there was no way we could get those out of your message box.

Dij is currently working on different ways to help prevent this, but quite frankly it is difficult.

Be patient, we are doing the best we can. We are not on 24/7. Though I know you all would like us to be.

The way you all are talking you are acting like the mods and Dij aren't trying to take care of the situation.

We apologize for everyone having this problem. I thought I was able to delete the pictures before anyone had seen them, but never gave a thought that this guy would take the time to pm the membership. He/they are some sick puppies.

Be patient and please keep us informed of this problem. This is why this thread was created.

I am in no way upset with either you or Dij and I hope that I did not give you that impression.

I am just being a concerned mother that is all. This is just something that happens sometimes and reminds us that the internet is not as safe as we sometimes like to think it is. It is upsetting when we have our “home” invaded by sicko’s.

I know exactly what y'all mean! It just makes you so mad and there is no one to take it out on. It breaks the barriers of what is even conceivable in my 'little world'. And we get so attached to our younger members, that the mother tiger just rares its head!!!! 28:irked:

One thing to let everyone know. You can choose to ignore a member in your personal settings, so if it happens again, just do that so you don't stumble there.

er....I had posted a topic in the "General" section and it got moved. But I can't find it. I looked in the sixth book section, but didn't see it there either. it was the topic entitled "shock over Snape" could you tell me where it is? when I try clicking on the link to the topic it keeps saying an error has occured.

I found it by clicking on your user name, then clicking find all posts by this member.

This shows where you have posted and then you can follow the posts you have made to their current location.

I know some people are frustrated about the topic merges, but you can imagine that we could all get lost in the number of topics if we didn't try to manage them. We would end up posting our own ideas about Snape or Horcruxes in about 17 different places.

I was just wondering if PMs that were sent before they were disabled would still be in our folders when we get the function back...

And also, for some reason the [quote] function isn't working - it just comes up as text "[quote] [/quote]" and not as a box w/ the quote in it - just thought I'd let y'all know :)
