I knew I remember there was a mention of a locket in another book and I just remembered Where is the locket? On page 116 of OotP Sirius and the gang doing house duty were cleaning a cabinet which had a little box and some wartcap powder i believe and a ' locket which none of them could open ' I bet that is the real locket and RAB is Regulus!

but in order to find the other horcrux's he needs a starting point, a leed. I thihnk thats where RAB will come in, Harry has nothing else to go on that I can think of. Unless theres some tellepathic conection between him and LV which makes him know where they are
