The sun shone through the window and into Tom's eyes. He rolled over and rose quickly and quietly from his bed. It was Saturday and he dreaded having to face Cassy and Katie. Something inside of him didn't care anymore. Yes, somehow he still did. He hated it.
Love was nothing that he wanted to feel. He got dressed quickly and hurried down to breakfast, hoping to avoid any contact with anybody. |
