Well, Ginny already gave her love to him and she may be used as a weapon in the future by V, so I don't think it's wise for her to go with Harry and help him, but in the end she probably would go and help him, anyway because Ginny seems to have that fire in her that other people don't have. I have a really bad feeling about Ginny fighting alongside Harry, though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) She might be in too much danger if she gets vulnerable to V, but they'll find some way to get together after the war.(hopefully)

Hmmmmm...do you know what I notice about Harry? He is determined and smart only when it's of the utmost importance, so I don't thinking paying their debt to Harry is very important unless they pay it by fighting alongside V when he needs it most. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I believe that Ginny loves him, so she will stay away when it's most dangerous and pay her debt when it is needed.

I don't think that Ginny is going to stay put somewhere and not fight. I think that no matter what she is going to fight with Harry. And the life debt, I never thought about it. but there are several that he did save. In CS was Ginny, PoA was Hermione and Sirius(but he is already dead) oh and Wormtail, OofP was Mr. Wesley, HBP was Ron. So that is alot of people. I never sat and thought about it before.

Ginny already confessed that she loved him. She also offered to go with him. But i think he would want her to stay behind so she dont get captured by v or used against Harry. And that she is out of harms way.

Harry told her that he could not live with himself, if she got harmed. Ginny said she did not care if she got hurt, but it was Harry that made it clear that he could not continue going out with her. We all know what happend at the end, though...

Ginny does not owe Harry for saving her in COS. She was in danger and Harry and Ron figured out where she was and how to get her out. If there was a debt involved then she would also owe the bird and Dumberdore. Understand, Harry was fighting a war with a mad man who had a personal grudge. If he was owed a debt for every life he saved, by the end of the book they all owed him. (Or they did). Any way this is the way it works: If you save a life from say an execution like Wormtail, Buckbeak or Sirius (POA) then you may be owed a debt. The Weasley saves were all a matter of accident meeting incident with opportunity to change the outcome. Ginny was lead by a monster and dark magic to the chambers. Harry and Ron found her by following the clues. Placed in the position to fight or die, he fought. He would have lost if Fawkes had not been there. In the case of Mr. Weasley, his abillity to see into Voldermort's head made it possible for him to send a warning. (By the way the movie totally mismanaged that OOTP). In the case of Ron had Harry not accidentally gotten the book of the Half-blood Prince he incidently would not have known how to save Ron. Lupin taught him to protronus so the save of Hermione and Sirius, as well as himself was reactionary.
Ginny ia VERY powerful witch. If you read books 4, 5, and 6 you can tell she has her chops. She knew that Harry was hers and was not really breaking up with her. And she did fight with Nev and Lunna at school until they took her home. So she fought with him, she was just smart about where and how she did it. |
