My freinds say it would be great, but i do not think it would have been. Our imagination would not have been stretched, if we knew what they looked like then we would forget watching the movies.
What do you think? |

I don't think it would make the books better or worse, but I think it's better without all the pictures. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) As everyone has said it stimulates our imagination.

i don't think it would make them better, though i don't think it's worst with pictures, i actually like the little pictures at the beggining of each chapter in the american and hebrew versions...

Ya! Me too! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) It gives you an idea of what's coming up in the chapter, but they're little enough for you to still imagine things yourself.

Before the movies came out, I enjoyed picturing what all of the characters sounded like and looked like and whatnot. I am SO glad the only pictures are the little ones at the beginning of each chapter.

and something that i forgot, the little images are so cute... my favourite is the one showing harry as a baby, i think is the first chapter of the first book, isn't it?

I'm saying no too, because I'm used to the books the way they are now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I mean the Swedish books doensn't have pictures, and the original British ones doesn't have pictures either. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I personally picture Harry as more attractive than Dan. No offense to Daniel radcliffe lovers! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) There's this one guy I met that reminded me of Harry and not the Harry in the movies.

I don't really think they would be better with pictures. I mean, I like imagining the books and the characters myself. But, I do like the little pictures in each chaper, they're awesome.

No. Because this would ruin our imagination. Like in Goblet of Fire, While I was reading the book, then I imagined th Pensieve to be a small cabinet sort of a thing under Dumbledore's desk. So, I like imagining things so that would really ruin my imagination.

I agree with Chrissy, we wouldn't be able to imagine things. But that's the whole point of Rowling describing everything in such great detail so we can imagine it.
