Rowena ran to her room and grabbed her raven. She whispered a few words to it and it was off. She followed at a sprint and soon was caught up with Godric. The raven was gone and back before she could say anything. It leaned close into her and she then looked alarmed.
"Godric, it's Salazar. He is doing something...I don't know what but it is not right. We must hurry or we won't catch him on time! He is in the girls brathroom, hurry!"

So they ran.

Salazar venturned down the chamber, the tip of his wand lit. In the dim, he could see the sleek silver walls glinting in the light. He smiled as he continued. It was almost complete. When he reached a chamber doorway, he muttered in Parseltongue again and watched as it slid open slowly.
He slipped inside where he was met by the sight of an elaborate room with statues of snakes to suite his taste. As he continued on, he reached what appeared to be a small nest where a toad sat with wide eyes. She gave out a loud croak as Salazar stroked her back.
"Hello, my friend," he muttered, "how is my baby doing?"
He lifted the toad slightly, revealing a small egg beneath her. "He's doing fine," he sighed, setting the toad back down. Even as he spoke, the egg began to crack. With an angry croak the toad jumped up and hopped away into the darkness. He turned his attention back to the egg. As the shell was peeled away, he saw what it was he had waiting for for months on end. A small serpent lay before him with bright yellow eyes.
"I am you master," he told it in parseltongue. It acknowledged him with a small nod of its head, never looking him directly in the eye.
Salazar grinned widely. "My basilisk."

Godric and Rowena rushed into the girls bathroom.
"What do we do now?" Rowena said.
They began searching the stalls and everything in the bathroom. They were beginning to think the searching was hopeless until Gryffindor noticed something on one of the sinks...

Salazar stroked the serpent's head and watched as it twisted happily under his touch. With a smile, he lifted it up and set it on the floor. With a swish of his wand, he conjured up a mouse. A deathly gaze from its peircing yellow eyes left it lifeless as the snake's powerful jaws snapped it up. Salazar grinned. "You're perfect."

"Look," Gryffindor said pointing to three encarved serpent "salazar."

Suddenly, Salazar stood. He sensed something by the entrance of the chamber. The serpent looked past him, a worried expression on its face. "Don't worry," he told it, "nobody will harm you."
"It's not me I'm worried about," it said.
Salazar stepped back, suprised at it's quick intelligance. It was but a few minutes old and already had the knowledge of anyone much older. He was also glad at the devotion and loyalty the basilisk was already showing.
"You hatched me," it said, as though reading his thoughts, "and I will protect you no matter what."
"You'll protect me?" he joked. Despite his light-heartedness, he took out his wand. "Just to be safe," he muttered.

"this is salazar we are talkign you probably have to speak some kind of gibberish. Thats it Parseltoungue, Godic yelped and felt his head trasform into a snake why the transforming sensation was still familiar he had never transformed into a snake but many other animals. "open," He whispered

"We've got to hide you," Salazar said.
The basilisk cocked its head. "Why?"
"It's illegal to have a creature of your splendor," he replied, "and I don't fancy trying to explain you to the others."
"Others?"
Salazar scooped up the small snake. "I'll explain later, but you've got to promise me that you'll keep quiet."
"Understood."

The chamber opened as Rowena gawked at what was before her. Godric enetered first after he transformed, Rowena followed slowly.

With his treasure now hidden, Salazar swept back into the chamber and gazed around. He vanished the nest and the traces of chicken egg. There was now no sign of the basilisk and that was how it would stay.

He turned and saw Gryffindor and Ravenclaw running towards them. He put on a suprised and angry expression. "What are you two doing here?" he inquired, raising his voice, "You know perfectly well this is my private sanctuary! How did you get in here?"

Godric re transformed into the snakes head "like this," he hissed then he trasformed into his usual head.
"what are you doing in here? It's just you'vebeen different lately?"

Destinee grinned, standing up tall with her wand gripped in her hand. Only thing that was light in the common room was the lit fire place, which gleamed along the marble floor. Pacing it back and forth, Destinee was thinking. Even though it was night, and she needed sleep for the beginning days activities the next day. But what were the professors up to that evening, why was Slythering hurt.. Those things lingered her thoughts as she paced that night..

"Different," Salazar muttered, "I thought I'd always been different."

Godric couldn't stand this guy at the moment taking Rowenas hand he walked out of the Chamber "now where were we?" HE asked with a wink

May I join as a new professor? alright here goes....

The new day began, Mathias, took a deep breathe and inhaled the magnificent summer's air.
"Blast! I'll be late!" He then dashed up to his small villa, off the coast of Bristle. As he ran inside, he tripped on a rock, that to his memory, never had been there before.

"OUCH!" he bellowed, " 'Sthat?" He bent down and picked up the stone. It had deep ridges, and an intricate design of a man, changing into a wolf. "Hmm, not quite sure what you are but, perhaps I'll just keep you, maybe you can get me some galleons, at the next town?"

He went inside his quaint home, and packed, looked around, and then with a small crack, apperated, to the next town.
"what in the blazes is this 'ere mate?"
"Actually, I haven't the foggiest? Though I was hoping you could umm, well- you know, perhaps give me somethign for it?"
"Well, let's take a closer gander at it shall we?"
The clerk reached for a handle, under his desk, slid it out, and took out a small magnafying glass, then proceeded to exaimin the stone.
"Ahhh....Hmmm....I say?
"Well?"
"It's rubbish, don't want it, just a stone, probably a charm of some sort?"
"You must be joking?! It's got to have some value?"
"Nope, go now, and next time, bring me something of significant value."

With that, Mathias Nicholias, left, and set bound directly for Hogwarts. Though not before, muttering a vulger word, under his breath at the clerk, who didn't seem to hear it.

Rowena was confused now. "Godric, don't we have to do something? We can't just leave him here alone. You have seen what Sal is capable of and what he will do, and all you want to do is make out and for get about the chamber he has created? What lies within these chambers is secretive. We have no idea what could be going on down here. Sal is very...frustrated with the whole splitting up the students arrangment..who knows how he is handling his anger.."

Salazar slipped behind them, hearing every word of their conversation. He couldn't help smiling. They are so misguided he thought with a smile. Soon, they would lament the day they invited mudbloods to come to Hogwarts. The time was almost come when they would know in whom the true power resided... and then they would beg forgivness from him... but they wouldn't get it.
