Salazar smiled greatfully at his friend, not able to find words that rightfully expressed his gratitude. He turned back to the other teachers. "And what do you say?"
They all gave short nods. Nobody dared go against Godric... ever.
His smile grew. "Excuse me, I must be going."
He drew up his cloak and left the room quickly, restraining himself from skipping as he passed by all the bewlidered looking teachers. He pushed open the door.

"Oh my gosh, Salazar!" Melissa hurried over to him and was caught in a tight embrace. She held him back, breathing in his familiar scent. His lips pressed against her hair
"I've got their verdict," he whispered after a moment. He held her at arms length and looked her in the eye. His pause had a far more dramatic affect than he predicted.
"What?" Melissa asked, exasperated.
He laughed softly and stroked her hair. "They said yes... Godric said yes."
She leaned against him, greatly relieved. "You're kidding."
"Never."

Helga, smiled inwardlly and got up. "Well im ummm... off to bed." "I'll see you in the morning." Helga hurried out of the staffroom saw Salazar and Melissa gave a curt nod and simle and hurried up the corridor, picking up her dress along the way. Helga tapped a statue with her wand and continued doing this until over 50 statues were bewitched. Helga then turned around and come face to face with someone she didn't expect.

Godric held Rowena back "Rowena its not going to work between us. We are just to different." HE stood

"Good Night, Rowena." And with that he left the room

Salazar felt Melissa cringe as Rowena went past, but as she nodded, she sighed and relaxed, resting her head against his shoulder.
"Is that proof enough?"
She nodded. "I can't believe it; this is a dream isn't it."
Salazar laughed softly. "It's too good to be a dream." With one hand, he gently lifted her chin and kissed her tenderly.

Helga stared at him, he moved his hand up as if to preform a curse, but Helga ducked and rolled behind a statue that suddenly lunged out at the guy and crumpled him. Helga got up and looked at the broken statue, she repaired it but when she got to the bottom there was nothing there. Halga stared.

Melissa pulled away after a moment. "Why?" she asked quietly. Salazar raised an eyebrow and ran a hand through her hair. "Why what?"
"Why did Godric say yes, Salazar?" Her eyes were burning with the intensity of her curiosity.
Salazar sighed. "I honestly don't know," he whispered, "but I don't like to question euphoria when it's handed to me."
Melissa smiled briefly. "That's not it," she said, "but like you said, it's too good to be true."
He shook his hand sofly. "That it is." He leaned down to kiss her again.

Helga bent down and looked at the bare floor, she heard someone comming and stood up and smiled as some students passed. "Hmmm" she said to herself, Then turned down the corridor.

"He reminds me so much of me, but he'll have to learn the same way i did." Godric said to himself looking at a picture of Selena and her mother with an exaperated sigh he place it back in its drawer and went to bed.

"Why do you want me anyway?" Melissa asked, suddenly timid. Salazar froze, his eyes widening. His voice had a not to hysteria in it as he responded. "What's that supposed to mean?"
She shrugged. "It's just that I've got nothing to offer you-"
"You don't see yourself right, do you?" he asked, cutting her off abruptly, "You have everything to offer, everything you've already given."
"Like what?" she inquired, crossing her arms moodily.
"Like something real to live for."

Helga hurried out towards the ground and backed up far enough to get the whole catle into her view then then muttered a charm and a few seconds later the tip of he wand glew green. "Of course" she though "The castle is cursed"

Salazar pulled back suddenly. "I have to go," he muttered. He kissed her swiftly on the cheek before turning away and hurrying to Helga's side. "What's happening?" he asked.
