I don't think Jo even knows! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) We can only guess.

Anyway...WOWZAAA! I looked at the topic and was thinking in my mind, This must be another false rumor, so I looked at it and from all the evidence I see that it is true! Thank you, Jo!

When I first saw it I didn't like it at all, but then I thought about the meaning of hallow for a while and it grew on me already!

The Hallows will be the sacred areas (tombs) surrounding the Chamber of Secrets. You heard it here first.

About the people that said they ran around the house screaming just because the name of the 7th book was released...imagine what they will do when the book actually comes out, they probably wont live to read it because they would probably die from heart attack or shock or something like that.
But I dont think the names really important...it doesnt change the fact that the books not coming out for ages.
But I guess now that we know the name more theories about the book and who dies about it will start popping up.
I cant wait till book 7 comes out! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

For some reason Hallows make me think of the time and place the Potters ided. If i remember correctly they died in halloween, at godrics Hollow. If you look at the wording, it can match:

Hallows = Halloween & Godric Hollows

Zola, you think like I do. Godrics Hollow. Deathly Hallows. It sounds so similar. Maybe the final battle takes place on All Hallows Eve. We can only guess, but I must say I'm on such a Harry Potter high right now I'm not thinking to straight.

I didnt want to double post so just editing. Ok here's what I got...

Hallows can also be sought after objects of immense power. Horocrux's anyone?

Also, was thinking Hallows...in reference to All Hallow's eve, in reference to spirts. Deathly Spirits? Or their voices, perhaps Sirius?

hmm...Ok everyone, this post doesn't make much sense really because I'm too excited to type properly now

I'm going to agree with Perseus, Hallowed Halls of Hogwarts or The Chamber. It has to do with Hogwarts, though I did think of something when I first got out of bed this morning, at 5:00am, and it was quite good, but know for the life of me I can't remember what it was. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Ticks me off!!!

I'm sorry folks I haven't been on in some time, it's just that, i broke my ankle, a few days ago, and had to have surgery yesterday, and above all, I had my semester test's at school, but, I'll tell you this, though being the HP fans you are, you probably already know, and have posted on it, the release date for the 5th film in the U.S. is 7/13/07 3 days after my birthday! I'm extatict.

But anyway, yah I'm also not a big fan of the title, I know my good friend who's name I shall not mention for she is a HPP poster, herself, knows the atleast one of the two other titles, she told me one, because, she was looking it up, on the net, and it said this one name, who i can't for the life of me remember at this moment, but it wasn't that? I'll tell her to post it, maybe she has? who knows? haha...Also I'll be home for a good portion of the holidays, so you can expect many more post's from me.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/gandalf.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/spin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Oh man! I am really excited now! That is 7 days before my birthday! What do you know, seven is the most powerful magical number. I am destined to see this movie the day it comes out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laughing.gif)
_____________________________________________________________________

hal·low (hāl'ō) Pronunciation Key
tr.v. hal·lowed, hal·low·ing, hal·lows

1.To make or set apart as holy.
2.To respect or honor greatly; revere.

These two definitions of the word make me think of Horcruxes. Voldemort's soul lies within these Horcruxes so I am thinking that since immortality is so important to him then it is reasonable to say that he has made them "holy" or "sacred" to him. He obviously greatly respects them. So maybe the book title is reffering to the deathly horcruxes? Or maybe I am completley wrong. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/comp26.gif)

Mathias...
Sorry to hear about your ankle...hope you feel better..

Okay, I was thinking....since we know she's still writing the book, and the editing/promoting/printing/shipping process takes at least six months, this means we WON'T get the book in the summer. Unless she says within the next two weeks that she's finished...

So, it makes me wonder if we'll get it on Halloween???

What d'ya think? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blockhead.gif)

Oh I really hope not I can't wait that long! Plus, I was hoping it would come out in July...I thought that would be kind of cool...
If the editing/promoting/printing/shipping process takes six monthes, then if she says she finished in like the next 2 1/2 monthes then we can still get it by August! Oh man I don't want to wait! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crying.gif)

They match. I mentioned halloween and the hollow. So you could be right abouty the release date on halloween, but she might not want to change her pattern. She always sells the books during summer.

sounds very interesting. Well we all know what Deathly means but here are two definitions of hallows.

Hallows
1. To make or set apart as holy.
2. To respect or honor greatly; revere.

Oh gosh, I couldn't wait until next Halloween; I'll be lucky to survive until next year. I'm one of those people who did run around the house shouting and probably will die of a heart attack when I have it in my hands. I almost did with Half-Blood Prince... but his will be too much to bear. Plus, the title is kind of creepy and has tons of foreshadowing. I love it! I thought when I saw it on this website that maybe it wasn't accurate... just another theory. It was only by chance that I even looked at the Book Seven slot... but I'm SO glad that I did!!!

Same thing crossed my mind, but I don't think so, Dij. Halloween is on a Wednesday next year. No, I think that unless she gives us a publication date for next summer within the next few days as an extra present, that we won't get it till 2008. I hate to say it, but she's not real big on non-summer releases. If it isn't the summer of '08, I'm going to guess at a Christmastime of '07 release. Her final gift to us all. :(
