The day had arrived. Summer got up that morning feeling nervouse, but she had everything under control. She knew what to do, and was determined to use it well. They had no idea what the first task might be, so she prepared several spells for practise,encase she was wronge and they did another task then the one she thought. She woke up Wendy, her best friend and ten minuted later they both walked down tobreakfast, but only 1 other person and themselves was there. Tereena. Summer walked right past her and sat down taking a jug of pumkin juice for the nerves.

The next morning Terena woke to the excited chatter that would fill the school for the entire day. She groaned and turned over, then a wave of realisation washed over her.
"The task!" She gasped sitting upright. She clambered out of her four-poster and got ready taking paticular care to look awake and calm. She walked down to the great hall with a number of gryffindors all asking her questions and wishing her luck.
"Thanks," She ended up saying to a little first year "I'm going to need it. Can you keep a secret?" The little girl nodded inncoently "I'm really scared." She whispered. The girl wrapped her arms around Terena's legs. She laughed softly. She sat down at the table not trusting hersef to touh anything her hands were shaking, she swalloed her throat dry.

um...I aalready said that it was the first task...lol????Ezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....hehhe.oh well. um...im not gonna reply BECAUSE i have NOTHING to say until the others say something:D

Summer shrugged then looked at her best friend. " Yeah..I am" she said after a pause" More than you think". She shuddered and looked at the other contestants trying to see if they felt the same way. They did.

Through the day things went from bad to worse for Terena. The shakes turned into projectile vomiting, her olive skin to deathly white, her dazzling smile to a nervouse grimace. Finally the final class bell rang and Terena headed with the other champions toward the grounds. The rest of students following excitedly

Summer looked over to the other contsestance..they all seemed to be handling things well... Summer however was feeling Ill. She thought it was the nerves...

Terena was ready for whatever lay ahead for her, but she couldn't shake the nerves as she sat there waiting for someone to tell them what they were facing.

then wendy said "here! have this! wear it! its good luck bye!" she gave her a gorgeous emerald necklace.

Summer beamed down at the beautiful Necklace. She smiled and hugged her best friend." Thanks Wendy" she smiled and turned away putting the necklace over her head and facing Dumbledore to wait for what lay ahead.

Christyna walked down to the Grounds(where the First Task was to take place)joined by her best friends:Kathrynia and Kirstyna. Kirstyna was walking in the front, acting like she was the leader as always.

Note:Kathrynia is in her 2nd, also, but Kirstyna is in her sixth. Only really dependent people are her closest friends, except for Kathrynia and Christyna which she finds is fun because they're a challenge to her.

The grounds were set up like a huge obstacle course designed that you needed to complete one task to obtain a clue that clue would then tell you where to go so you could continue onto the next. As dumbledore explained this to the crowd people began cheering and hollering. They were all to set off at precisely the same time and as the walked out, the cheering incresed. Terena waved to the schools excitedly.
"Champions! On three you'll start the race. One..." Terena tensed, "Two.." she rolled her shoulders and streched her neck "Three!"
Terena walked forward and stopped abruptly as she was faced with a cupboard. She let out what sounded like a war cry and was covered in waves of blue when they vanished her uniform was gone; replaced with a blue mini skirt and a cropped top connected with a deep blue sash that crossed her flat stomach. She opened the cupboard and saw her clue at the back of it but at that moment the cupboard dissapeared replaced with blast ended skrewt.
Terena held her arms apart a blue engery pulsing between them, forming a ball of swiling silver mist and she thrust it at the crustacen it fell onto its back not before a firey ball from its tail seared her leg. She snarled in discomfort, but proceded forward toward her clue.

Christyna bit her tongue and became suddenly tense. This was weird. Usually, the champions had to fight the same thing, but here they were facing different things.
"They're all facing different elements concerning their personalities,"she thought aloud.
Terena, obviously brave and outspoken, was faced with fire.
"Hey!"came Kirstyna's voice out of nowhere.
Her very loyal cronies were next to her. Christyna didn't even know their names. Kristyna only regared them as servants, so she never learned their names.
"Snap out of it!" she continued. "Why are you so tense? Oh yeah, and stop muttering to yourself. It's scary."
"Don't you have your own people to boss around?"said Christyna pointedly at her cronies.
"Hey, you're my servant, too."
"I am, am I?!"
"Can you stop?"came Kathrynia's voice out of nowhere.
Kirstyna smirked. She enjoyed this daily routine.

Summer fell back as fire erupted from her particular cuboard. It must have been different for everyone. Terenna had water, Summer had fire. She yelled a spell, and imediently the cuboard vanished leaving a letter. The clue. Summer reached forward but then the cubord changed into another cuboared , a different one though. She looked at it suspiciously then let out a high pitched yell" Ridiculous". The ubord exploaded into pieces. The thing she had most been afraid of vanished into thin air. The whole crowed exploaded in cheers as she grabbed the scroll of parchment to the next level. she walked and out of site before opening the scroll. it read;

Two hours nothing the less
When you recover you might be a mess
Walk ahead then turn right
You might find that your in the midddle of the night
If you solve this riddle you will find a door
But dont go runnig in cuz you could turn up on shore

'What did that mean"? Summer said aloud to herself. She looked at the letter then though' door..shore' do they mean the sea? she didnt know...unless she did what it said.

Christyna bit her lip. She always hated these dangeroues games. Kirstyna was smiling evilly. She enjoyed other people's pain. That's what made her a true Slytherin.

Terena was on her third clue and she was faced with a fork. A quicker route fighting harder oppenents from what she gathered and a longer one with easier challenges. She held her wand flat on her glittering skin, "Point me." She whispered it spun to the quicker direction she raced forward, and the crowd gasped as she came face to face with a hungarian horntail.
"You've got to be kidding me," She screamed. She looked up at the dragon trying to remember their weaknesses
their hide is impenetable
they are really stong
they are fast flyers "Come on i need something useful!" She screamed fighting a stream of fire with the ice from ehr hands. The girls in the crowd were screaming in fear or holding their breath as they watched Terena. "GOT IT!"
they're eyes are extremely sensitive.
"SHOCK WAVE!!!!!!!!!!" She screamed and to thin steams of blue energy steamed toward the dragons eyes hitting it in the pupils within seconds it had collapsed on the floor. The crowd roared its approval as she raced and got her final clue:
the end is near yet far
to face you will let go of what you are
you will arrive at a vast space
a pint of its essence will serve well
get back before the final bell

Terena read the paper over and over in her mind, "oh surely not dumbledore." But as she rounded the corner and saw the glass bottle she laughed and grabbed hold of it.
Within seconds she had landed in a vast desert looking beind her she saw a huge rock protruding from the earth.
"Australia, I've never been out of Europe. wow.. now back to work. A pint of its essence a pint of its essence." She sat down stumped pushing the rich red soil around her. "Of course." She said and filled the bottle with the sand. Immediately she was back and she noticed she landed with split second timing at the same time as summer.

Kathrynia looked confusedly at Christyna who quickly told her,"The bottle was a Portkey." Kirstyna thought, This is getting boring, and she leapt down from the stands and attempted to disguise herself as a Champion.

"oh please good lord help summer in this! she needs you help!" she said under her breath staring at summer and at terena.

Terena was quickly ushered away to heal her arm, and she walked away unwillingly.
"You'll be back in time for the scores," Madam Pomferry added reading her mind
