You aren't imagining things Potter Freak, it is a necklace or locket.

Fizzing_Whizzbee this is one of the things I am seeing in the clouds. It looks like a woman to me.

QUOTE
If Voldy had a vault, would Gringotts have just left it, knowing what kind of dangers could be in there? Is it part of the magic that they can't simply empty a vault even if it was Voldemorts? Or was it made in someone elses name, Tom Riddle perhaps?
If V had a vault, I would say that it would've had to have been made in the Tom Riddle name. That's why I said Tom Riddle's vault rather than Voldemort's. I can see him having one only as a place to keep his treasures/souvenirs. But then again, I think it unlikely. I'm still leaning towards a Hogwarts vault.

QUOTE
it's possible that it's a law for Gringotts to leave someone's vault alone even if it is an evil person's vault.

I tend to believe that they can't just dive in to a vault and empty it for their own gain. They do need to get in to the high security vaults though. Remember, they check those every decade or so.

QUOTE
Fawkes I think has left Harry forever as the sad goodybye at the end of HBP made it clear that Harry will never see DD again and it also included Fawkes in the process.
I don't know. I'm holding out hope that Fawkes will be back and will be Harry's. Jo did say that Harry may get a new pet before.

QUOTE
I think in one form or another Harry will see/communicate with Dumbledore.

Agreed!

QUOTE
I don't think Hogwarts has a vault. Remember what Hagrid said? No place is as safe as Gringott's, except, maybe, for Hogwarts.
True! But remember where the Sorcerer's Stone was before it was at Hogwarts? In Gringotts and it was Hogwarts business. I remember that vault being quite empty though now. It is possible that Hogwarts began using it more to hold their stash of gold for running the school, but probably not. Hmmm. Maybe it's Harry's vault? But I don't like that idea. There'd be no reason for anyone to be sucked out of it if it is.

QUOTE
Where did you see that werewolf? And the womans face?

QUOTE
if you all can point me in the direction of where, how, what angle you are looking etc, I'd like to be able to come up to that level with everyone else that is seeing these things.
It's not real good, but if you look at this picture and can see the three circles I made, you'll at least know where to look. (IMG:http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f76/WWotW/ukdhccircled.jpg)

QUOTE
I think it is the locket, but I might be wrong so i just wanted to see that everyone else thought

I also believe it is the locket. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Ah yeah, I looked on the bigger pic I got from the net, and indeed it was an werewolf and a lady in the clouds too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) So really cool. Maybe it's something about Fleur and Bill? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It could be something good too, Baty. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) But it maybe it's about Bellatrix and the werewolf who bit Moony and Bill, instead. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Good thinking Nina. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) But I still wonder if the cloud of the woman isn't Lily watching over Harry. The more I look at the one that looks like DD, I really don't think it's him. Hey, maybe it's all wishful thinking and the artist is just playing games with us? Oh I'd strangle her. lol

With the picture I have up above, you see Lily, then look right.... You have the moon, then a very dark blue, below the dark blue is a lighter blue, if you look but not too close to the monitor please ;~) you'll see what looks like two eyes, well maybe an eye and a half. There are even eyebrows. Maybe you can see a face. It took me a bit when www told me about it.

I, sadly, cannot see the pictures that people have posted to indicate where they're looking at, but I know where I see DD! If you look closely at the top of the picture you will see a profile of a man with lots of hair that's vertical.

I see it, I see it! heh heh...however I don't see anything on it that's distinctly DD. Maybe if the women is Lilly the man could be James (uh...without glasses, but I guess DD had glasses too, but maybe he doesnt need them in heaven). Me thinks it could all just be wishful thinking.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/closedeyes.gif) Yes! That is a happy thought! Although, I think I should give everyone a little nudge(including myself) that this is the artist's work and not the writer's.

I think Everyone is pretty much aware of that by now, but the artists do read the books, and are quite aware that what they are putting on the covers are clues to what is inside the book.

Well i gathered that the artists only get an excerpt from Jk and then they draw that...is that wrong?

No, those lucky artists get a first look at the entire transcripts - I could only dream! I don't want spoilers, but the entire book - sure, bring it on! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I have been looking at the covers some more, (like everyone else I'm sure).

on the UK childrens cover:
it looks like harry is reaching for the helment with a dragon on it. and if you look in the left corner you can see the chest part of the armor. and it looks like feather (to me atleast) and I'm not sure about the emblem on it. because the head is of a bird of some kind (personally I think a phoenix but that is just me) but the body part is like a snake or a very long neck.
the question is who does the armor belong to, is it Ravenclaws armor (because she was a medivial witch and when i think of medivial i think of armor) or is it DD or is it Grindelwald (a Dark wizard who Dumbledore defeated in 1945 (SS6)). Ok now this is a streach but what is Voldemort was a follower of Grindelwald (I know he doesn't seem like a follower kind but just go with it), Voldemort would have been young. and much isn't known about him after he left Hogwarts and after he stopped working in Knockturn Alley. So it is posible that if he was a follower of Grindelwald and after his death in 1945 (Dumbledore killed him) that he might have used Grindelwald's helment at a horocux.
ok and with the Stag, has anyone noticed that it is looking up and it appears to be smiling. so that could be a good sign.

And on the US cover:
the curtains one side is tied and the other side isn't. so this could mean the end to one and not the other. the side that isn't tied is by Voldemort and the side that is tied is by Harry. So could it mean that Voldemort is going to die and Harry survive?
Also with their looks. Voldemort looks fearful and if holding his hands up like saying "no" or "stop". And Harry looks like he is welcoming it and he appears to be glad about it.

OT, Two words:Lucky artists! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Anyway, about the armor. This seems like a silly theory to me, but that's just me. It's possible that this armor belongs to Hogwarts and is the sign of unity between Gryffindor( the dragon-Pheonix creature) and Slytherin(the snake). Maybe Ron had the Snake part of the armor, but it slipped through his grasp because a sudden suction was pulling them back, except Dobby was protecting Harry, so he could get the rest of the armor and Dobby wasn't being sucked back because he had protection(the sword).
